They got a late start this year, but the site is now open: https://fantasy.mlssoccer.com/ Biggest change this year (IMHO) is you can only have 3 players from the same MLS team (last year it was 4). My team name for this year: "Carles Gil Santos"
My daughter has started a league you're all welcome to join. The code is PZZDK5YA. There's a limit of 20 spots, and it's open to everyone, so, to judge by what happened last year, it may fill up fast.
That's indeed what happened. I'm not sure where all those people came from, but if you set up a league as being open, it rapidly fills up, to judge by what happened the last two years. The alternative is an invitation-only league, but I'm not sure if it's too late. Or if you can get a decent number to join.
Sometimes I hate this game. Dumbest move of the year: Last week I dropped (captain) Carlos Vela for Wayne Rooney, playing the home field advantage. Turned 20 points into (-4). Second dumbest move of the year: This week, I put Evan Bush in net, for one reason only: no Rooney last night. Even made him my captain. At the last minute, I gave the armband to Acosta instead.
MLS Fantasy is back for the 2020 season with some major changes February 19, 2020 12:58PM EST Benjamin Baer
https://fantasy.mlssoccer.com/#classic/leagues/14636/join/DFTZ32F4 here is private league for posters here. If we have enough players and everyone agrees we can make it head to head
My daughter and I have just joined. You're up to four. I hope more people will join. For what it's worth, we both prefer the head-to-head format.
I cannot change the league to head to head so I created another league https://fantasy.mlssoccer.com/#classic/leagues/15636/join/XM9JW6C5 Sorry for the hassle
People need to act fast, with Opening Day tomorrow. With nine teams, we have the dreaded unbalanced schedule.
If you created a team in the spring, the season resumes with "week 3" starting tomorrow (Thursday 8/20).
Thanks again for setting this up. I was able to claim my first-ever fantasy Supporters Shield. One Good Turner finished with a record of 11W-2L-1T. Now I know how Jim Curtin feels...
