Am I the only one who looks forward to Thursday evenings at 1130pm eastern time ?

Fox Sports World has been showing Fan Zone matches at 1130pm every Thursday all season long so far.

I love listening to fans go at with each other and with the players and refs. on the pitch. I've been trying to get me and my friend on their and hopefully Sky will give us a chance in early Feb. for a Liverpool or Fulham match.

Anyhow...was curious if anyone else enjoyed this as much as I do.

Bolton-Newcastle was a classic one and last week's Pompey fan was brilliant...especially at the end of the match when he started announcing tryouts for anyone who can play striker to show up at the park on Monday evening....quality stuff.

The fanzone games are the best. The most enjoyable games to watch. IMO.

I wish MLS would offer a fanzone commentary.

That is one thing i really miss now that i don't have Digital anymore. I would always set the audio to FanZone when watching the games on TV.

I enjoyed listening to Tim Lovejoy do Chelsea matches.

How do you know what matches are going to be shown with FanZone?? I watched the Chelsea-Liverpool game earlier this year in FanZone and loved it. I just wish the regular commentary was that way.

I believe that the Thursday FSW replays are Fan Zone matches. At least those are the replays I always seem to catch. I have yet to hear Fan Zone on any other day,

Far too much in my Wifes opinion ;)

Now that the colder weather is here, Winter coming in the Mountains, i'll watch anywhere from 4-6 games on a weekend, just about all of them live.

    Plus the Monday game.

Champions league bores me frankly, why people create such a din over it not being on over here is beyond me.

Fan Zone is all right, but the professional commentaters are the best. Martin Tyler, Andy Gray etc.

Fan Zone is on every thursday evening @ 1130pm on FSW. You can find out which teams are going to be shown if you go the FSW site and view the weekly schedule after Monday evening as it seems FSW doesn't find out untill then.

On some occasions it is nice just to set the audio on crowd noise only, and change the camera to behind one of the goals. I guess we are a bit spoiled with TV over here.

Did anyone catch last night's fan zone....Pool vs Arsenal ?

Great back and forth comments from the Londoner and the Scouser, they made for some great laughs and some good comments. Loved the Scouser making fun of the Boltonians..classic stuff. Of course the ending was pure bliss .. great match.

I never use player cam. I don't like it either.

Its just sky being smart arses. If you watch it for the 15 minutes, say Laurent Robert, will not get a look in, but after it switches to another player. CRASH, BANG, WALLOP. He scores a hatrick, sods law.

The pattern I see is they (Fox Sports World US) replay Sat and Sun Pay Per View matches three days later, usually at 5PM Pacific time, regular commentary, and then show the same Sunday match on Fan Zone on Thursday - last week it was 8:30 Pacific, but next week it's 5:30 Pacific, which seems to be more typical.
(So my guess is this week will be Charlton at Crystal Palace).

They probably don't list these broadcasts in advance or mention then on Fox Football Friday to boost sales of Pay Per View.
