I'd imagine A-T-L will obviously happen, but your post sounds as if we are relegated to one chant. We need an array of diverse chants with some a little bit more creative than A-T-L.
Ill add the one I came up with, until I see better options. Well if the primary colors are these. RED & GOLD, IF TRUTH BE TOLD. RED & GOLD, WE'LL NEVER FOLD. RED & GOLD, WE ARE BOLD. RED & GOLD, FOREVER RED & GOLD. You can read the 2nd parts alone as well... IF TRUTH BE TOLD. WE'LL NEVER FOLD. WE ARE BOLD. FOREVER RED & GOLD. Or this way... IF TRUTH BE TOLD, THE RED & GOLD, WE'LL NEVER FOLD, THE RED & GOLD, WE ARE BOLD, THE RED & GOLD, FOREVER THE RED & GOLD.
I like it, the forever in your first bit seems to throw off the rhythm. It fits much better in your other two verses.
Fan chant/song idea: stand by me - B.E. king? We would need to change a couple of the words but it might work for an oldies song
If the pitch, that we look upon Should ever be wet or dry And All the haters wont pull for thee I won't cry, I won't cry No, I won't shed a tear Just as long as you stand, stand by me... Haha just kidding.
Well if the team went with Atlanta Chiefs(but with a Celtic Mascot), one of the entrance songs/music could be... but with no lyrics or have alternate lyrics.
I vote that when we play Orlando that we sing the Barney song, "I love you" Barney has been my nickname given to Orlando.

"Terminal Lesions from the clap clap clap" "Terminal Lesions from the clap clap clap" - to the tune of "DC United is going to whup our asses" PS Eleven Bravo is a closet euro snob!
I know most ATL fans like the idea of a Phoenix being mascot, officially or unofficially, but being said once more, Phoenix Arizona, has more rights to that idea than ATL... I prefer something more aggressive , like a wolf. This is not an idea for a new crest/badge, just something in general with a wolf theme.
It seems like activity in this forum has waned. Can others let me know where this kind of discussion has moved to?
"We Are Legion, Fight for the Season. Hey, Hey, Hey, We Are Legion." or "Red, Gold and Black, We Are Legion, Attack, Attack, Attack."
WE ARE LEGION. UNITED TO CONQUER. THE 22nd WILL RISE. BEARING THE RED, GOLD & BLACK. ATTACK, ATTACK, ATTACK!
The best chants and songs follow a preset series of tunes, but are customized to address nuances of the opposition. When we sat near the Chattanooga FC "Chattahooligans", they had a series of tunes they all understood, but they altered them to address ATL, including things like the water dispute between TN and GA ("We have all the water!") they temporary 0-0 scoreline ("All We Are Asking . . . Is Which Team Is Pro?") and the desire to meet us again in the Open Cup. It was all brilliant, worked out in the week before the match.
Well frak! I got so caught up in a busy work wee I neglected to actually upload the video of my song to nominate for the AUFC competition! Grrr. 4 second pacing, with the third verse raised in tone(?). "We are Atlanta, United are we. Conquering all from sea to sea. The legion loyal, brave and bold Painting the world black, red and gold With courage of heart we take the field. Fighting on with pride and steel. For we are Atlanta, United are we. Raising our flag in victory! Atlanta! United! Hurrah, hurrah, hurrah! Atlanta! United! Hurrah, hurrah, hurrah!"
To be honest, I need to hear a song instead of read it. I'm just this one packs a good punch, I just can't get the power of it here.
Terminus - Eleven Bravo and the rest of y'all: What was up with y'alls 50 foot tall capo stand at the game on Sunday night?
Not looking to pick on y'all for how you operate but us in Houston just memorize our songs and take the lead from our drummers n brass. Which is the norm for the MLS clubs in Region III and for teams even more Southern than us like soccer clubs in Mexico or Argentina and Brasil. Us in Houston certainly do not utilize a conductor's stand or bullhorn and never have. Dallas does not as well and they were stuck on supporter stupid for decades. Do your people in your supporters section need to be led by an electronic bullhorn and some man or woman in a stand?
You mean a Capo? They way they do it overseas and in Portland and in Seattle? Seems pretty standard to me. Us in ATL will probably continue to do it that way.
