Phil Collen - Def Leppard guitarist David Beckham - Manchester United Morrisey (the last two have been subjects of speculation and have not been verified.)
From the Morissey-solo website: "You're gonna need West Ham on your side" When he's not wearing Gucci, he's wearing a West Ham Boys T-shirt. and at the Forum last night he took that off and put on a Canning Town Boys t-shirt. and sang "Here is West Ham, home of the brash, outrageous and free" to Hairdresser on Fire. Which is strange for a Mancunian living in LA. popstar Ilford, Esssex - Wed, Nov 17, 1999 at 04:58:55 (PST) | #13
Blonde. Ponytail. Goatee or bad beard and ear ring. Did the world cup shows on FoxSports World along with Max and Christian Miles.
Odd, considering he's from Sheffield. I know the singer and drummer support the Blades and Wednesday respectively.
Oh, I think I have lost the plot. All I remember about him is that is annoying. So, Max is a WHU fan?
Yes, he said so before we went down. I think he likes us a lot. That guy reminds me of Chris Elliott.
Morrissey used a backdrop of Bobby Moore for a few of his shows, and has the picture up in his house... I believe he enjoyed watching Eric Cantona while he was with Man U. and his father was a Man U. supporter, ... Johnny Marr of the Smiths is a Man City supporter... Morrissey loves West Ham because it's the choice club of most East Enders...
It looks like "Arsenal" got cut off in his teams list to me. While we're on the subject of punk/oi! bands, the lead singer of "The Business" wears a West Ham shirt for every show. I was at their very first show in the USA a few years ago (they've been around since the late 70's).
