Former head of the FBI, Russia "hoax" lead investigator and soon to be subpoena testifier Robert Mueller is still alive and kicking. He is 82.
Famous Former Basketball Player, rival of Larry Bird and HIV/AIDS survivor and activist, Earvin "Magic" Johnson is still alive. He is 66 years old today. Yes, most of us remember when he was selected by the Lakers when we were kids. We're all old, too!
purrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! She was 34 when she was the original (and the best) Catwoman. Hard to believe she was only in 6 stories (12 episodes). I know some prefer Eartha Kitt (and Kitt's voice was amazing), but Julie Newmar was Catwoman to me.
Sort of James Bond (well, he was James Bond in one movie) and all around Aussie George Lazenby, is STILL alive. He is 86 years old today. He was offered the opportunity to play the role again in "The Man with the Golden Gun" (probably the worst James Bond film, by the way, probably worse than "Quantum of Solace"), but turned it down, as his agent said secret agents were "archaic." Obviously, the role went to the returning Roger Moore (who played Bond in the terrific Live and Let Die). Strange that there were three actors to play the role in three movies Lazenby "On Her Majesty's Secret Service" Connery: "Diamonds Are Forever" Moore: "Live and Let Die" ...and they then offered Lazenby the role again. (Any time one can post a photo of Diana Rigg is a good time)
American Senator (I-Vermont) and guy who has sponsored a number of resolutions but passed almost zero actual legislation (well, 3 pieces of legislation, he managed to rename two post offices and had the Veterans' Compensation Cost of Living Adjustment passed*), Bernie Sanders is still alive. Of course, we know he is still alive, as he is constantly on television. He is 84 years old and still going strong, just not getting anything actually done. [Note, I like Senator Sanders, he is very effective at communicating the problems in the country, but not at actually managing to enact solutions to those problems). *https://www.congress.gov/member/bernie-sanders/S000033?s=1&r=1&q={"search":["bernie+sanders"],"sponsorship":"sponsored","bill-status":"law"}
Thomas Steven Wopat is 74 today. The Wisconsinite is most known for his role as Luke Duke along New Yorker John Schneider, but I enjoyed his cheesy made for TV movie "Christmas Comes to Willow Creek," and his turn as douchebag sheriff Jim Wilkins on Longmire.
Jeremy Irons, is still alive and active at 77 years old. Dead Ringers is fantastic. He was fantastic as Claus Von Bulow in Reversal of Fortune He was good as Kafka in Kafka I liked him The Borgias
Smooth voiced singer from Roxy Music, Brian Ferry is STILL alive at 80 years of age. Not only is he STILL alive, he just released a new album in May! (He does not seem to sing on it, though. It is mostly visual artist Amelia Barratt talking backed by some nice, programmed beats. It is pretty good music to have on in the background while working...which is what I am doing at the moment.) Also, super snarky and mean host of The Weakest Link, Anne Robinson, is still alive and 81 years old today.
Julie Andrews is STILL ALIVE at 90 years of age. The hills ARE alive with the sound of music today! She is NOT an EGOT! Somewhat surprisingly, she never won a Tony Award. She won an Oscar Several Emmies (including one THIS YEAR for Bridgerton) Several Grammies A slew of Golden Globes But no Tony.
