Dennis Rodman is STILL alive?!? He is 63 today Other famous birthdays: Stephen Colbert is 60 (but we know he is still alive) Romelu Lukaku is 31 (in witness protection from Chelsea, in other words, at Roma) Darius Rucker is 58 (he's still alive, but is his career?)
George Lucas is 80 and still alive He has not directed anything since 2005. He was Executive Producer for the latest Indiana Jones nonsense.
So Rupert Murdoch is definitely alive: Media tycoon Rupert Murdoch marries for fifth time https://t.co/jtVWflvJdn— BBC News (World) (@BBCWorld) June 2, 2024
This is three days late, but.... Patrick Charles Eugene Boone - 90 (June 1, 1934) I'd forgotten he recorded this album - 1997
Amazingly boring human being, with an equally boring name, Spaulding Gray, was born on June 5, 1941. He is so boring this is a COLOUR photo of him! Edit, I just checked and he actually died in 2004, but nobody probably noticed, though. I actually thought he was still alive, until I checked Wikipedia and saw he died 20 years ago. I wonder if anyone has told him this relatively important fact.
I used to teach Swimming to Cambodia in my classes. It worked pretty well in both literature and drama classes. His death was a big deal among people who follow experimental theater and things like that. All 73 of them
Well, maybe among those who follow "boring" experimental theater, not the Antonin Artaud or Leszek Madzik version of experimental theater!
Freddy Kruger's Robert Englund is 77 today, and still alive, no matter how many times "Nancy Thompson" (Heather Langenkamp) and others buried him, stabbed him with his own glove, and ultimately trapped him in a furnace. I never saw the 2010 remake but I just learned that Rooney Mara is in it, so I will have to watch it at some point.
Michael Edward Gross - 77 (June 21, 1947) Meredith Ann Baxter - 77 (June 21, 1947) That shared birthday bit gets me every time.
Still alive and still grifting like no US Supreme Court Justice before or since. Clarence Thomas, born June 23, 1948
Glen Danzig, born June 23, 1955, 69 years old and still going. Somehow Ex-Misfits singer, Glen Danzig is still alive (although he really doesn't look like it in this picture). I guess you could say he "Walks Among Us."
Oh, they should switch jobs. I suspect Danzig would make a better Supreme Court justice than Thomas in Misfits make-up singing "Where Eagles Dare" or "Die, Die My Darling" but it sure would be fun. Well, that and Thomas actually IS a "Goddamn sonofabitch," of course.
Mick Jones, of the Clash and the pretty dreadful Big Audio Dynamite* is still alive at 69 years of age, and somehow "stayed slim [but bald], while the other guys got faaaat" (and then dead). *Saw them at the Halsted Street Market Days around 1995, they were terrible.
Happy birthday Huey Lewis lead singer of Huey Lewis and the News Born on 7/5/1950. pic.twitter.com/h728MNmxc4— Legends Of Classic Rock (@lofcr1) July 5, 2024 I like BAD better.
