And while any death is tragic, I can’t help but think the deaths of right wing darlings might at least carry some benefit in terms of capturing a bit more attention from the conservative science skeptics. If someone must die from this, let it be folks who are tools or manipulators of the anti mask crowd. So in that spirit, I think we need some walk up music as Louie Gohmert makes his way from the on deck circle to the batter’s box.

It’s sad that he has died - he leaves behind a wife and two children. That this has resulted because he made choices about personal safety based ideology and not accepted science is unfortunately ironic. I’d hope the rest of the anti-mask crew would learn from this, but I’m not gonna hold my breath waiting.
