Yep. And while any death is tragic, I can’t help but think the deaths of right wing darlings might at least carry some benefit in terms of capturing a bit more attention from the conservative science skeptics. If someone must die from this, let it be folks who are tools or manipulators of the anti mask crowd.

So in that spirit, I think we need some walk up music as Louie Gohmert makes his way from the on deck circle to the batter’s box.

    1) He was a damn fool.

    2) He was diagnosed with COVID-19 on June 30th, which gives some idea of the long lead time required for increased cases to lead to increased deaths.

Herman Cain did turn into the liberals greatest nightmare. I had a nightmare he coughed on me.

    Herman Cain on Jesus:

He didn't have a lawyer, nor did He care about who judged Him.
His judge was a higher power.

The liberal court found Him guilty of false offences and sentenced Him to death, all because He changed the hearts and minds of men with an army of 12.

I went and dug up the original "nightmare" post from October 2011.

Sorry to bring this back up, SgtSchultz, but it's context for current events - newer posters don't know why old-timers are talking about Herman Cain being a nightmare.

It’s sad that he has died - he leaves behind a wife and two children. That this has resulted because he made choices about personal safety based ideology and not accepted science is unfortunately ironic.

I’d hope the rest of the anti-mask crew would learn from this, but I’m not gonna hold my breath waiting.

You shouldn't. I don't actively wish death on people, but Herman Cain willfully and callously put other peoples lives and health at risk with his selfish stupidity.

Yes. And we all know he’s a bit of a GOP caricature and a mascot, but Chief Wahoo and the Redskins tradename have already been cancelled. And now 999 is too. Hasn’t conservative white America suffered enough?

Would it be in bad taste to re-hash the time Cain went to Germany to speak in front of a bunch of economists? He thought they were YUUGE fans when they started chanting "Nien, nien, nein!"

Nowhere near as much as the rest of us have!
