Well this guy here I met in person at the Rivermania store at El Monumental back in October of 2005. What a tremondouos boxer and a classy individual as well. I watch all of his fights when I can. Not because he supports River, but becasue he's one helluva boxer. He's got a big one coming up against Zab Judah so everyone better tune in to HBO if you have it.;)

For those who don't know, he often gets into the ring with the a River jersey with the #14 on the back (representing Los Borrachos del Tablon).

Here's another Argentine tennis player who supports River as well. Nalbandian is currently the #12 ranked player in the world and the highest ranked Argentine on the 2007 ATP.

What's that one guys name.. The one who scored a goal against Boca in the finals of the Apertura 2006?? The one who said he always dreamed of playing for River.. Oh, right:

    Mariano Pavone :D

It would be great if anyone posts the video of him when he was a kid saying that his goal was to one day play in Primera for River.

Ex-Hincha de River: Guillermo Barros Schelotto :p

Note: This is not a "photoshopped" picture. It was taken from an Argentine newspaper, in which he was interviewed while playing for Gimnasia (LP). Luckily, he's not a River fan anymore (or atleast it doesn't seem like it :p).

In case you all don't know, one of our famous celebrities will be boxing on Saturday night. Yes, Miguel Cotto will be fighting Zab Judah in what should be a great fight. Check it out on HBO PPV if you can and support Cotto.

I wish our players could perform like Cotto does. Maybe he should don the jersey and step out on the pitch for a game. He sure as hell would show more heart than some of the players do.

Well he did it again last night in New York. Another one of our famous supporters chalked up another victory in boxing. Miguel Cotto defeated "Sugar" Shane Mosely last night in New York by unanimous decision and retained his WBA weltereight title. With this victory, his records now stands at (31-0 with 25 wins by KO). Man this guy can fight!! Cotto!! Cotto!! Cotto!! Cotto!! Cotto!!
