After much searching, I finally found this bad larry down in Philly (visiting some family over Easter.) Any fan of the show should immediately track this down.

You have all of season one and season two (7 episodes in the first, 21 in the second.) I watched a few episodes with the commentary and it is pretty amusing; I especially liked it when they started talking trash to each other in character -- "Lois, get off my F-ing back!" You also have the episodes in its entirety, so scenes like Peter remarking on the wine in Mass are included.

The list (from amazon, looked complete):

    Disc One:
    Episodes
    Death Has a Shadow (1/31/99)
I Never Met the Dead Man (4/11/99)
    Chitty Chitty Death Bang (4/18/99)
    Mind Over Murder (4/25/99)
A Hero Sits Next Door (5/2/99)
    The Son Also Draws (5/9/99)
Brian: Portrait of a Dog (5/16/99)

    Disc Two:
    Episodes
    Peter, Peter, Caviar Eater (9/23/99)
    Holy Crap (9/30/99)
    DaBoom (12/26/99)
    Brian in Love (3/7/00)
    Love Thy Trophy (3/14/00)
    Death is a B(i)tch (3/21/00)
    The King is Dead (3/28/00)

    Disc Three:
    Episodes
I Am Peter, Hear Me Roar (3/28/00)
    If I'm Dyin', I'm Lyin' (4/4/00)
    Running Mates (4/11/00)
    A Picture Is Worth 1,000 Bucks (4/18/00)
    Fifteen Minutes of Shame (4/25/00)
    Road to Rhode Island (5/30/00)
Let's Go to the Hop (6/6/00)

    Disc Four:
    Episodes
    Dammit Janet! (6/13/00)
    There's Something About Paulie (6/27/00)
He's Too Sexy for His Fat (6/27/00)
    E. Peterbus Unum (7/12/00)
The Story on Page 1 (7/18/00)
    Wasted Talent (7/25/00)
    Fore, Father (8/1/00)

I paid $37 for it at this place called Coconuts (Newbury Comics, Best Buy and Virgin megastore were all sold out last week in Boston, but said more were coming in this week.)

Tis a fine fine box set.

I pretty much got through the whole thing once already and now am watching a couple a day.

I think I may have an addiction.

I guess I will get it this summer, but I already have most of the episodes downloaded of the internet.

I haven't had a chance to buy it yet because it was sold out everywhere that I went. I'll probably give it another try this weekend.

The commentary ain't good. The Simpsons one are a lot better.

I just got it (for $30) and so far it's been just as funny as I remember it. The commentary isn't bad, just inconsistant. It's been selling out almost as soon as it comes off the truck where I work (Best Buy). There were 7 people waiting for the truck to unload so they could get one from our 2nd shipment. I never realized it was so popular.

It's not popular in the mainstream kind of way, but the syndicated airings, the quality and uniqueness of the show and its "tragic" cancelation have definitely made it a cult series.

    Well said.

I'll buy it whenever I see it.I didn't even know the DVD was released until just now.Peter just kills me.As outlandish and idiotic he appears,he always reminds me of different people I know.
