Esa información fue confirmada por familiares del jugador. Al parecer, Benítez se encontraba en su casa cuando sucedió el hecho. Su esposa fue la que informó a sus familiares. Así lo confirmó Harly Betancourt, su hermano que vive en Esmeraldas.Benítez fue fichado hace tres semanas por el club Al Jaish SC de ese país, que también confirmó el deceso en su cuenta de Twitter. Hasta ahora no hay detalles ni información oficial.Fue convocada una conferencia de prensa en la Casa de la Selección para hondar detalles del hecho.Noticia en desarrollo...
