Once again, Indy faces its third game in eight days, against a team that did not play at midweek. The last time this happened, in mid-July, Minnesota thumped Indy. Here's hoping for better tonight. The Furries were poor in the spring season and at the beginning of the fall season but have won their last three matches, each by a 2-0 score. This won't be easy.
Cory Miller comes back in for Indy, with Janicki suspended after his late red card on Wednesday. It will be interesting to see how the Falvey-Miller partnership works.
Funny how the roles have reversed where we are dominating the league while Ottawa is stagnating. Glad we got the 3. Important to continue on the quest for the trifecta.
I know we already have a playoff spot locked up, but home field advantage is pretty important for us imo. This team is a lot better at home than on the road.
The Cardiac Kids strike again--wow. Credit to Mares, Smart, and the rest for fighting to the end. Relieved that we beat the Furries.
Mares' delivery to the far post was reminiscent of his free kick against Edmonton recently--except this one was from open play. Spectacular ball.
He's been one of our best attacking players this season. His final ball seems to be really improved to me.
