On paper, this is no doubt one of the toughest matches of the year: a third straight road game, and the middle game of a three-game week, against the team that's topping the fall table. The Cosmos are coming off a crushing home win over the Railhawks (who had beaten the Eleven the previous weekend in Carolina), while Indy is coming off a road loss and a road draw. At the very least, it would be great to keep the unbeaten streak against the Cosmos going. But that's still asking an awful lot of a road-weary team. Weather conditions should be good for late August, with gamete temperatures in the high seventies. The game is being broadcast on WNDY and is also being streamed by One World Sports.
I'm looking forward to watching this one. This week is the start of the last third of the season. Very good so far but we need to finish it off. And especially pick up the pace on the road. Only one win out of 10 road games so far isn't going to be good enough to get that #1 seed.
Youla needs to play a lot smarter. He has the abilities to be a very productive player, he just doesn't make the right decisions.
That was an embarrassing loss, and the team tool only one point from a possible nine on the road trip. Hopefully, this serves as a kick in the ass that jump starts the team when it returns home.
