In attendence: Prideaux Nelsen Williams Curtis (c'mon man one Bud Light at a time) McKinley Trask Entropy (that's Mr. Rum and Coke to you) Reveleation Lowecifer Gavin (do you have a screen name man? get with it) Dan the Gooner Cider and other people. and some guy who claimed to be from the Burn. Who was that guy? Light blue shirt near the bar the whole time. He talked to Nelsen for a bit. I'm sure he was a footballer 'cause they all look alike (showered, fit, expensive watch, blonde standing nearby, etc). I bought the ************er a shot and all. I bought a lot of shots. Here's to you Ryan, you big Kiwi numpty what my fiancee thinks is hot an all. Bastard! Well needless to say we started the night tough but went down to defeat. The Guinness and Powers were big winners on the night. My pocket book and sobriety big losers. Big, big losers. Good to see the big turnout. I was hoping more of the team would show so I could make a complete ass of myself in front of everyone. Curtis was in full babe magnet action. Everywhere he went women (and the two Bud Lights). BTW what is it with these guys and their Bud Light? Have a real beer man. Though, maybe there's more than one reason I never was any good at the footy. I'll have to give it some thought. BTW you don't realize how big McKinley and Nelsen are till you stand next to them. They're big, man. Oh, and revelation was really, really drunk. Ha, you numpty wee scaff.
Re: Re: Fado [R] I thought he already told you. "showered, fit, expensive watch, blonde standing nearby, etc."
Chico, thanks for letting Meridian in on the little secret! (I was at Fado last night, and I have a screen name) It was a very fun time, as it was after Saturday's game. I like Fado as a place for the post-game parties. Nice summary, Meridian. Revelation was a little tipsy. Special thanks to Entropy for tackling me right before I left! Also in attendance were many of the DC United office staff (enjoying the Bud Light), including the guy who sold my Mom her half-season tickets. I talked to a few of the office folk, and although I didn't get any "scoop", I again see why DCU has the best front office in the league. They're all really nice folks, and they all say they really like working for DCU, which to me says a lot. So no more post-game parties for now, and a long cold winter until next March. It would be cool if DCU held some "off-season" parties just to tide us over...
Ok, like everyone else was all kinds of sober! Sure, I was the only one drinking at the bar!!! I too was disappointed by the lack of other players - it's not like they have anything to do today! For the record: Revelation 10 : Liquor 1 Still undefeated, but I hear the liquor is looking for a rematch...
Hey I was ************ed. I admit it. And it was a good time. Justin, I'll go to the Burn web site and see if any of them look familiar, though given how tanked I was I'll probably pick Jefferies or that guy you have who rides the horse around.
There's nothing better than a bellyful of Boddington's to help that dead sprint to the Metro when you realize you are about to be stranded in Chinatown and you live in Baltimore.
Had to be him. He and Nelsen played together at Stanford, and talked at halftime after that awkwardly long award was given out.
None of the DC front office people recognized him so I thought he was just a rather successful fraud in terms of being a babe magnet. I think I was the only sober person there by the end; at least I was able to wrestle my bobblehead back from Entropy.
The way you were tightly clutching that thing all night I am surprised he even got it from you in the first place.
