I disagree, I think you’ll see him trying to get him to fit somewhere for the Next few months. I think he’s just too slow for eth. And if you’re not Antony, you can’t be slow.
also re: worst player i'd think it was Taibi but it depends on the metric i didn't think i'd need to explain this and i know what this is but OK no problem. we didn't give him any sort of run in the team even after a good loan and he was thrown in as a hail mary into a very poorly functioning team and delivered in moments. aside from the fact this wasn't by design we're lucky he didn't leave and try elsewhere for minutes. forunately he's showing what he did in the Primavera which is why he was bought in the first place. we badly need dribblers too so
i don't think pace is his issue. he can beat a man but we'll see if he even gets the minutes if he isn't loaned or sold
Is Haaland anything other than a supreme, powerful tap-in merchant? He's very good at what he does but he can be anonymous for hours until he gets a chance laid on a plate for him.
What are you expecting? Him to get the ball off the keeper, drop in he hole, link play to himself then tap in his own pass?
People used to say the same thing about Ruud. For sure, when the type of strikers we call “finishers” dont get or take chances there is often not much else they contribute. Oppo tactic is always to kill the service. Thing that always sticks in my mind is ex pro footballers like Keane, Gaz Nev etc all say the same thing - consistently putting the ball in the net at top level is the hardest thing and why strikers get the big bucks. Flip side, Keane has called Haaland “Championship level” but then we know why he likes trolling the Haalands
