Would be good to integrate Williams, Fred, Gomes, and maybe Dalot for this one. Hope we can keep the momentum going with a comfortable win.
Gomes won't get pt unless he signs I don't think. ------------------------------Ighalo James------------------Jesse-------------------AP ----------------Fred--------------------Scott Williams------------------------------------------Dallot ------------------Maguire------------Bailly -------------------------------Romero I think that team should start, but we may bottle it and play Bruno or Pogba. I absolutely do not want Rashford or Martial to start this game. I think this game is tailor-made for James. Norwich will leave a tonne of space to run into. I suspect they will be up for the game as they are already doomed in the league, but we should have the beating of them regardless, especially with fresher legs due to rotation.
Maguire won't be heavily taxed, neither CB will. I'd have left them both in, but Lindelof has had knocks twice now if I recall correctly.
actually nevermind he still hasn't recovered. my bad. i would think Mata would start too. rather not risk the main CBs but i don't know if we have one ready in the academy
It's been pretty apparent this season that Maguire is Ole's workhorse, so it's always likely we'll see him start (even more so now with our CB injuries). Don't know where he is readiness wise, but maybe Timmy makes the bench for this one. But the guy I really hope makes the squad tomorrow, especially under the current circumstances, is Mengi. He's been training with the team and reportedly has been making a good impression so why not. Even cooler if he could make his first team debut, assuming we have the game in the bag. A longshot perhaps but we can hope.

would have preferred Williams but it seems to take Shaw forever to get going anyway. maybe this will be better in the long run
We can already see how difficult it will to break Norwich down: defending in numbers and very compact.
mata and lingard are way too narrow. you want to stretch out a low block and make the defend horizontally, that's why pep has his wingers hugging the touchline in the final 3rd until they're ready to make that final run (usually for a tap in from a low cross).
To be expected unfortunately from those 2 on the flanks. This is definitely a game where I would have liked to see Williams get the start.
