FA to bring in foreign officials?

    Yeah, I read that article earlier. Sounds interesting and I think it could increase the quality of officiating.

    It could be a good idea if we get top officials like Collina, he doesn't take any crap. But a lot of officials on the continent blow for a foul as soon as any kind of tackle is made, they'd have to adjust to the rough and tumble of the Premiership or it would be ruined.

    Collina would be really good but is he retiring anytime soon?

    He had to retire this year because of the age limit in Serie A. But there's a three or four year difference in the retirement ages between Italy and England so he could go on for a while here.

    Most of the referees here are laughable.

    Pole openly admits that in his early career he sent players off just to make a name for himself, yet is still officiating today - thats just wrong.

    Seems that most English refs have the perception that 40,000 fans turn up to watch THEM strut their stuff
