Thanks for posting that, but ugh - I just hate 'luxury' when it comes to watching soccer. The league's financial goals have passed me by.
Put a call in for Postecoglou ASAP. Winning a trophy with Spurs is even harder than winning one with DCU.
I didn't visit it, but the drywall looked the same from the seating. If that was Fifa grass, did the team just take a check from the Defenders or was that part of the Defenders losing enough not to host?
Probably (I delete a lot of stuff without looking at it). I get they are most likely sent automatically, but this one is soo tone-deaf. Someone should have had the sense to catch it before getting sent.
Frankly even worse would be some letter from either the GM or the ownership stating that the results were unacceptable, that their will be some changes, yada, yada, yada. The GM obviously has no power to make meaningful change and the only letter I want to see from ownership is an introductory letter from a new one.

My favorite was Portsmouth, for the humanity of the match as that team and their fans suffered mightily just to get to the match. After multiple flight delays, they landed in DC just a couple of hours before the match but their equipment didn't arrive until the following day. It was so bolloxed up they had to wear our away kit! made for quite the sight. I am still infrequently in touch with one of their fans who made it to the SE tailgate. ETA: found this video - check out the walkout D.C. United vs Portsmouth FC - The Goals Seems so much longer than just 10 years ago.
