Is that right? I logged on without knowing that.

Liverpool in the Worthington Cup Final and now Arsenal in the FA Cup 5th round.

If they win the four trophies this season they'll certainly have earned it :D

    That's a hell of a 5th round matchup.

It's at OT, so I'd have to say ManU has the advantage. It should be a good game regardless, though.

Lets hope for a replay of 1999, 2-1 to United.

Hopefully Van the Man will show Henry that he is the best striker in the premiership.

Wow this will be a big game. I'm already nervous about it. Any word about TV coverage in America?

Let's hope for another giggsy wonder run! What a couple of match ups we've got coming. Beating pool's always good, but this for a trophy and then hopefully stickin it the Arse again!

FSWD doesn't do the F.A. cup games live. I have DirecTV and we only get one F.A. Cup game out of the whole weekend, the rest is on "closed circut TV" which means you may have to call up your local pub(s). Now thats not to say FSWD won't show it taped the next day, but where's the fun in that?

Suggestion for those who have FSW and want to have maximum fun watching the taped game: avoid all news sources before the air time, which means stay away from Soccernet, manutd.com, BigSoccer threads that have an [R] in the subject line, warn your family and friends before starting any conversations with them, stay away from crowded areas where people might be discussing the game, etc. This way it will just be like watching a live game.

But as it turns out, I don't mind the tiniest bit watching the game after knowing the results. That's what happens when you don't have a TV and don't get to watch ANY game ANYTIME.

Live on Setanta Closed Circuit at 7:15 a.m. ET. (Saturday, February 15th).

One-day delay (Sunday, February 16th) on FSW and FSW Canada at 2 p.m. ET.

On a slightly [un]related note, Sven's been quoted to be annoyed that MUFC & the Arse might withhold players on the mid-week international just 3 days before this big clash.

Gotta agree with you there. If it were a Euro '04 qualifier, that would be one thing, but a friendly against the Aussies...

Did someone say the match was on Direct-tv? I wouldn't mind geting up at 4:15 PST for it.

On the 'friendly', ended with Australia winning 3-1. I guess England really was not up for a meaningless match such as this. We all know that what everyone is waiting for is the 5th round match this Saturday.

From what I've read, yes it is.

Giggs is facing a late fitness test for the tie. I really want him in the side, he's almost a talisman for good results against the Arse in the FA Cup...

This has changed a bit. Still on Setanta, but also available on Dish, DirecTV, and Bell ExpressVu (in Canada). And the FSW/FSW Canada showings have been pushed back to February 22nd.

The last time I got up early to watch Arsenal/ManU live at 5 a.m. things didn't work out so well (at least from my point of view). I'm hoping for better luck this time. ;)

Thanks for the update, dwinkler. Looks like I'm paying $15 to see the match. At least I can put it on the Dish digital video recorder so I don't have to be up at 5:15.
