Former Captain Ray Wilkins and Jimmy Case with the draw...
Who do you want in the 5th Round? Who do you think we'll get?....
With the Prem sides dropping left and right, I think it's safe to say that there's not easy matches....there's only tough matches and tougher matches

    The draw numbers are:

    1 Arsenal
    2 Coventry City
    3 Huddersfield Town
    4 Bristol Rovers
    5 Chelsea
    6 Liverpool
    7 Barnsley
    8 Southampton
    9 Manchester United
    10 Portsmouth
    11 Preston
    12 Wolves
    13 West Bromwich Albion
    14 Sheffield United
    15 Middlesbrough
    16 Cardiff

I want Huddersfield, the odds say we will get a Championship team and I think we will end up with a Prem side. Don't really care, as I think we will beat any of them. Obviously would prefer to avoid the other big sides away.

    Arsenal @ Chelsea.

We'll have everyone back by then. At full strength, the exact opposite of the game at the Emirates, we are much, much better than they are. That stems from having some older players and being more mature.
But, I'd love for the small teams to be Cinderella stories and have us murder them in the quarterfinals and semifinals. Finish off Man U in the finals again.

A great draw for us considering the injuries in the squad. Besides the obvious fact that we wont see either Arsenal or Manure in the next round, we are playing at home avioding a potential shyte pitch.

The only thing that could make this draw better was a Pompey vs Liverpool draw.

either way I am very happy.

For once we get a good draw.
Nice to see Manure and Le Arse draw each other too.

I'm sorry but one of your own fans should put you right on this one, atleast in recent history anyway.

    fair enough zippy

although we went through a period of drawing either you or Arsenal in the 3rd round of either Cup for quite a few seasons.

The draw has been friendlier to us in the last few season though.

Well, we've had good and bad draws over the past few seasons. Arsenal put us out of the Cup a couple of times early in the decade, and two years ago in the semis we drew Liverpool away, by far the worst that could have happened at that point. But you're right, it seems like overall we don't have anything to complain about.

Amazing bitching on the ManU board about the draw. Ahem, I believe they are at HOME for the match and it is the Arse fans who should be whining. They, on the other hand, seem fairly optimistic. Both of them seem to feel that the winner of that match is going to do the domestic double. They are correct that there is going to be a domestic double this year, but they're wrong in that the team that will do it will be wearing blue. ;)

agreed that is fantastic to see them moan up a storm, but to be fair its a shyte draw for the both of them.

I would have some sympathy, but after watching the spineless FA constantly punish our players while other teams receive no reprimands for their actions really helps me to smile.

Thanks for response, i expected worse from what i have seen and heard of this board, i.e tough mods and unwelcoming fans, i think we are unhappy more with the fact of a tough cl match straight after, plus Lampard seems to really get his goals tally up in these matches.

we really arent as bad as you may think

the mods may be tough, but if you saw the shyte we were inundated with you would understand as many of our mods were fans long before the Ambramovich era. The mods cant be that bad as they still allow teso to post here.

Generally I think we are unwelcoming because a week doesnt go by without someone reminding us "we have brought the League, throw money around, etc". The hypocracy becomes sickening.

You did get a shtye draw, but as I said earlier I am not too unahppy as either you or Le Arse wont be advancing. I would also love to agree that the FA are crap with their fixtures and convienient draws but I know what spineless jellyfish the FA are and have little sympathy for anyone else after the way they have treated us recently.

Good luck to you, although I suspect many of us will be hoping for a 0-0 draw with six or seven red cards for both teams. ;)

Well most of that bad talk comes from posters that come over and basically say and want everyone, and are suprised they don't, to clap their hands togeather and say Eureka in agreement with notions that Lampard and JT etc are lucky that they are not playing on non-League teams and we are lucky we are not vying for Derby for relegatation and most don't have the subtly to even dress up a bit their silly Lamp jabs as you did;)

Bear in mind that a lot of the crap that gets spewed on this board comes from new and stubbornly combative posters. The older crowd will only get after you if you're either stupid or an asshole, and you seem to be neither.

Like everyone else has said, we're friendly but as soon as the words 'Bought the League' and stuff like that is said we're going to be hostile. Truth be told I don't mind visitors as long as it's friendly banter. So don't worry. :)
