Me and a teammate got the F-50's at about the same time and they both came apart at the toe. The leather isnt durable at all. FOr those of you who drag your feet dont get these. I sent them back and now im gettin the pulses. Im notsayin itll happen to you but just make sure you keep the reciept!!!lol

Weird, I've worn mine since december and they're still perfect. What kinds of field are you playing on? Busted toe sounds like Nike quality :D... Hopefully it is just an exception.

if u wore your F50 on grass that shouldnt of happened. i have only heard good things about them, and they look pretty sturdy. must just of been a faulty boot.
c'mon designez1 stop dissin nike haha, did u have a bad experiance with a pair of their shoes? i always buy nikes new boots and they have never fallen apart on me. looking forward to getting the new azt90III.
ive growen to look down on adidas predator, well at least their sg bladed version. the last two versions i have bought and they have both fell apart and had 2 be replaced.
at first i hated all the new pulses and thought they were ugly but the blue ones are starting to grow on me, has any of you woren a pair of the new pulses in sg blades? if so wot u think, are they comfy cause not only have the last two versions fell apart but they also gave me bad crap in my feet.

    they do look sweet tho.....

I have had MULTIPLE experiences. My dad had a "connection" with someone that worked for nike so i got a couple of talarias and a vapor free. Both sucked and fell apart. I buy my adidas rather than getting Nike for free. As for the original poster, somethings akward, that doesnt happen much

thats why i wont buy mass marketed cleats. they make those cleats for maybe 2 time use by the pros not for youth players with 5 a weeek practices. the f-50s also are k-leather in certain parts and k-leather isnt meant to be durable

Basically if you play 4-6 days a week year round, lasting a year is pretty good, especially if you play in wet conditions a lot-no leather is going to last forever. The key is to take good care of them. I've found that rubbing Mink Oil (or any other leather conditioner) on my shoes about once or twice a week has kept my preds soft and really helps protect them from water. But the toe is still always going to give eventually. Three kids on my high school team just got F50's about 3 weeks ago and seem to really love them and they have held up well, and I know my old Copa Mundials lasted a long time before the toes finally gave out. Adidas generally makes a pretty good shoe.
