If anyone knows an online shop or a shop anywhere in the US that is selling the new limited edition Gold Cup 2017 Panama Jersey, PLEASE LET ME KNOW. Same design as the 2017 home/away, but it's in blue. I need it before July 7th for the game vs USA.. lol

We're taking a young squad to the Gold Cup 2017. We're in the middle of a "changing of the guard", which IMO should have started since the last WC cycle under Dely Valdes. I believe the only "vet" called up is Gabriel Gomez. Roman is not really a "vet", but he has decided not to play .

Preliminary list for Gold Cup 2017
Listado preliminar para la Copa Oro 2017

    Heavy dose of midfield players.
Only 4 strikers, so I'm assuming each one will get playing time. I would like for Bolillo to try Arroyo in the midfield also, as an enganche.

    Alex Rodríguez
    Orlando Mosquera

    Defensas

    Ángel Patrick
    Michael Amir Murillo
    Fidel Escobar
    Roderick Miller
    Jan Carlos Vargas
    Roberto Chen
    Luis Ovalle
    Éric Davis

    Volantes

    Aníbal Godoy
    Gabriel Gómez
    Armando Cooper
    Valentín Pimentel
    Miguel Camargo
    Édgar Yoel Bárcenas
    Josiel Núñez
    Leslie Heráldez

good showing by Panama. The youngsters played well.

    takeaways
Gabriel Torres - showed that he's a definite starter for the Hex team
Ismael Diaz - still lacks chemistry, but showed that could potentially be # 2 forward (at the least 1st off the bench)
Miguel Camargo - Wow! for 2nd straight Copa he showed out! Current club coach Patrick Vieira even stated once Copa over, Camargo would get more minutes at NYCFC. Showed that he could definitely be a possible midfield starter. Him and quintero would be awesome!! . Unfortunately, suffered hip injury in quarters vs Costa Rica, and will miss at least 3 months, essentially knocking him out the MLS Season and out of the hex :(
Fidel Escobar- keeps showing why he should start at cb over Baloy in the hex - calm and cool, good defensive presence and can contribute to the offense - Strong rumor that NY Red Bulls are about to sign him
Roberto Chen - Showed that he's getting close to being at pre-injuries form. when the list 1st came out, many of us questioned why Chen was called up. Yup, he shut us up!

    http://www.fifa.com/news/y=2017/m=9/news=the-week-in-numbers-2907341.html says:

"73 metres from goal: that is where Gabriel Torres received possession en route to breaking the deadlock in Panama’s 3-0 win over Trinidad and Tobago in the Hexagonal. ‘The Little Ghost’ amazingly took just four touches and eight seconds to go from collecting the ball to rippling the net."

Jugamos como la misma mierta. Baloy is a damn fool for starting Baloy alongside Torres. Baloy has not been starter material for a while . It should have been Fidel with Roman. And then the 1st sub is Cooper???? For Barcenas???? And his explanation is because he realized he should have put 5 midfielders??in that case just bring Gaby down and leave Blas up front by himself, and tell Baloy and Roman to STOP coming up and stay back .

Baloy should have been the 1st sub. He was giving the ball away like Halloween candy. And why the hill was he joining the attack? At some point he has to realize he's slow footed! It wasn't all his fault tho, but he was one of the major reasons for the first 3 goals

No need for Bolillo to play with an offensive mindset, when all hex we were successful with the defensive mindset. And to top it off says he got caught up in the euphoria from the win vs Trinidad. Really dude?

Well at least we're mathematically still in reach of both 3rd and 4th spot. If I'm correct, we can get 3rd if USA loses vs Trinidad and we beat Costa Rica. And 4th if Honduras loses both vs CR and Mexico, even if we loser vs CR

You're correct. To get third you need a win and a USA loss or a win by 8 goals and a USA draw. You'll get fourth if you get more points than Honduras or if you get the same amount as Honduras as long as you don't lose by 6 and Honduras doesn't win by 6.
