Sure the FmF will miss players like Chelito and Vicente Sanchez, but with the arrival of some great foreign talent, i think we might forget about them sooner than later.

Now...i know the tournament has just kicked off, but i cant help but be amazed at how fast some of these players are adapting to the FmF.

When Lucas Lobos played his first game of the season, it looked like he had been in the league for awhile already.

Lenilson and Itamar are looking dangerous for Jaguares.

Centurion looks like he's gonna be great for Atlas.

El Colombiano del Morelia Leao Ramirez is showing great quality.

Blas perez played a few mins already and it looks like he will have no troubles in adapting either.

And lets not forget about Giancarlo Maldonado who became champion in his first season. Is this just a coincidence ? Or are these players finding the knack for mexican football because of our leagues advancement ? I personally feel that this will help the league grow and help our young Mexican players get on the ball if they want to get a starting position. What do you guys think of this new foreign invasion ?

i don't think toluqueños will forget about vicente or cardozo anytime soon.

and i don't think you should be drawing conclusions so quick.

ricahrd nuñez scored 4 his first appearance and what happened to him?

is the point of this thread to try to point something out, to say it's a new trend, or to just mention them?

because quality foreigners is nothing new, and the really good ones are never forgotten - cardozo, aguinaga, pata bendita, cabiño, gato marin, and there are still good ones, like the ones you mentioned, chaco, chilindrina, da silva, rosada, pony ruiz (who is past his prime) etc...

Yup. Jaguares is looking good this season. They're playing good futbol too.
They kinda remind me of Veracruz y "la quinta del Cuauh" back in 04.

There are two players so far that ive seen and they have caught my eye:
    Leao Ramirez and Lucas Lobos.
Lobos plays a lot like Chelito, they have the same style.

Ive also heard this Romagnoli guy that's going to be in Toluca is very good, and if Datolo goes to America, he'll be another player to look out for.

I'm with Guado on this. This thread is totally questionable. Blas Perez? He has only played a couple of minutes and his is mentioned already? What the point? That we are suddenly bringing better foreigners? I think its really doubtful. Soccermania every tournament start, has a magazine about all the new players. The list from two tournaments was really bad with a whole lot of busts (Erwin Avalos, Juan Samudio, Nicolas Pavlovich, Bilos, Christian Canio, Santiago Salcedo, Walter Fretes). The only ones you can say were real sucesses are Fernando Ortiz and Eduardo Coudet. The one from last season was a lot better with a couple of stars (Giancarlo Maldonado, Christian Benitez, and you have to include Edardo Del Solari although I think he is a tronco but he had a great season, I don't know how.) A couple of great players that have remained although they haven't shown what was expected (Suazo, Insua, Arevalo), and some that were alright (Bonet, Riveros, Sambueza, Romero). But we also had some huge busts (Lucas Castroman, Lucas Barrios, Juan Quiroga, Wanderson, Ignacio Ithurralde). So its pretty much the same as always.

Having a thread like this and getting conclusions after 2 games is a insane IMO.

Hey..dont jump the gun Rafa..none of these players are official yet. This is football after all. No one can see the future, who knows what will happen. All im saying is that the extranjeros that the FmF have brought in this season have caught my eye more than any other season i can remember. And nobody is drawing conclusions after 2 games..your right that would be insane, but simply stating that you like the new foreigners doesnt mean that your calling which one is gonna be champion..or lider de goleo..i think your reading to much into this thread.

I wanna see this guy play already. He has some big shoes to fill..Rosada was a beast in the D-mid position.
