Great result for the kids. Convey is getting a lot of praise for his play. So USA supporters have got to be happy.
When the tournament attendance is taken into account, S Fla did get out and see some soccer, even in the "bitter cold conditions"... (Y'all need to get out, and North, a bit more). But I can't imagine how anyone in S Fla can expect MLS to expand back into a market they folded 2 teams out of a year ago. Unless MLS finds a S American Coffee company to buy a team and waves the 3 foriegner rule, or treats US Citizens as foriegers... If MLS is going to expand it should expand by absorbing one of the A -League teams, like Rochester or Minnesota. US Soccer has come a long way, what it could use now (besides massive influxes of money and fans) is some tradition and history.

Maybe USSF was thinking all the snowbirds in Fla would push attendance up. Not. I asked a few of the guys I play indoor with about the game and they had no idea it was even happening. I withdraw my comment that it should have been played near Canada, very few Canadians would have attended. In a thread in the Canada boards where I asked about attendance and organization, they actually ARE discussing hockey.

glad you guys made it.... I was in betw, the Polska
fan, and the Mutiny drum..I would of loved to see
the weather a bit warmer... there were a lot of
Fusion, and Mutiny jerseys under the coats...
If you noticed ?... it was great to see so many
of the fans sporting USA paraphernalia... and
the USA fans (club) in the corner did a great job.
