Nobody yet. Chivas started by taking Arturo Torres from LA.

Andy Williams from Chicago to SLC--still no one from the Quakes.

Orlando Perez also from Chicago but to Chivas USA.

Be surprised if no one from here gets picked. Ditto for FC Dallas--none of their guys have been selected up to now...

    stay tuned...

Conway protected after Brown was picked. Don't know who after Walker was picked.

It's on the web now... Jon C protected is an interesting move--either him or Cronin will be the odd player out come the start of the season...

They list Chris Brown as a Rev on mlsnet's draft page. That's funny. :)

Kansas City Matt Taylor - MLS Cup 2004 hero - is traded to Chivas.
He was really the MVP (for DC United of course) during the last 20 minutes of the game :)

Jamil to Chivas .. looks liek a punishment for a crappy season.

This was already in the Jamil Walker thread, but it bears noting here:

That was a puzzling pick, given the expected flavor for Chivas USA. He was expendable anyway given that Ching and DeRo were ahead of him in the playing charts.

I suggested on the preemie boards that he should be dealt to SLC for Erick Scott, who is from Costa Rica and would fit in easier with the Chivas brand.

For what it's worth, Wes Hart was protected after Walker was picked.

    Wes Hart protected per mlsnet.

    What's our '05forward line-up look like now?

    Donovan - not likely
De Ro - out of contract
    Ching - signed!
Mullan - better as a mid
    Walker - gone
    Chris Brown - gone

looks like we need to go shopping again...

Kathy still wants Franco. I wonder what he'd cost.

    Yup. Good catch.

Still, I hope we have more firepower than that by April/May '05.

no real shockers for the Quakes...

too bad Brown and Walker never developed into their potential...

let's hope they continue their decline now they are gone...;)
