    From the article:

"A man was arrested Wednesday after he was accused of trying to run down Rep. Katherine Harris (news, bio, voting record) and a group of supporters with his car...
Witnesses gave the car's license plate number to police, and they tracked it to Barry M. Seltzer, 46. He came to the police station early Wednesday and complained to officers that Harris' supporters had impeded traffic.

"I intimidated them with my car," Seltzer told police. "I was exercising my political expression."

Well, good thing the carnival's getting more entertaining down there. Grab your popcorn now because the spectacle is only going to increase.

I'm not saying I approve of driving onto a sidewalk to try to splatter Cruella Harris against the grill of your Caddy.

But I'm not saying I disapprove, either.

I'm just going to keep an open mind until all the facts are in.

How did I know, before even clicking on the thread, that this was going to involve Florida?

Elderly people love their Caddy's. I was just surprised it wasn't an Octogenarian.

Or that it wasn't in da 'hood. Where I live, Caddy's are king. Mess w/ somebody's Caddy is like going after their children...

B4 a Reep comes on board, let's just reiterate that we do not condone violence. But neither do we condone disempowering millions of voters.

    Karma. Gotta love it.

Besides, it wasn't as if the guy didn't wimp out at the last second. So it isn't really condoning violence. I doubt people would be here making jokes about the expense of cleaning makeup off the windshield if he had turned her into the world's first vote-stealing hood ornament.

I would, of course. I'm working on them now, for when the guy gets out of traffic school. But not EVERYONE would.

But since he missed - the wimp - I really don't see the point of issuing out condemnations. Let's just agree that both Harris and Seltzer served honorably.

I didn't think it was legal to use that word except in a Rule Against Perpetuities question.

No, I think its allowed unless the word "fertile" gets thrown in as well.
