Funny story related to that. When Will made that goal my son, who was about 15 years old, yelled “What quality”! Will immediately became his favorite player. He tried to change his BS username to QualityJohnson. Much like Utah’s DMV license plate censors, BS blocked his username change.

I'll change that username right now. What's the original?

He’s no longer a BS user, but was fairly active on here at the time. He’s actually who introduced me to BS. **Please don’t @ him, please respect his decision***

ps-if you don’t follow college football recruiting that last sentence will mean nothing. Sorry.

Speaking of Robbie, Ian Joy posted an interview with Robbie on his twitter feed. It's just under 10 minutes and touches on what Robbie is doing currently with the COVID-19 crisis.

It's always good to remember what a punk Benny Feilhaber is/was. He miss hit the ball and then falls to the ground. Total dive. Total punk move.

Watching the first MLS is Back game between Orlando and Miami, and no Will Johnson for OCSC (his contract expired and he was not re-signed). Looks like he is still without a team.

Brooks Lennon with the start for ATL tonight, at Right Wing. He played the full 97+ and looked pretty good imo.

Agreed. I don't know what he did to deserve a move to a top tier club but I don't think it matters to him.

it's gotta be that punchable face of his
But really, the guy is a slightly less talented version of Demarcus Beasley. Surrounded with the right pieces, his speed can be killer.

Late here. I think he was pretty impotent. I realize that could be because Martinez isn’t on the receiving end but still, nothing he did seemed to keep the momentum going for ATL. Maybe regular season will be better for him.

I have been curious about Lalo Fernandez, onetime "rising" goalkeeper from our academy who was with the Monarchs and RSL for several years without getting a game, finally getting transferred to Tigres of Liga MX at age 24 in 2017. As far as I can tell, he neither got a game with Tigres nor was loaned out, and he was transferred or released (it isn't clear) this summer with no destination team evident. Nothing on his Twitter feed either.

And Bofo Saucedo has 13 appearances with Pumas. He scored in his first game and hasn't since.

Maybe they figured out if you keep him from cutting back to his right he might not be as affective. Just a thought.

I tend the believe the last paragraph probably describes what is happening, but to be fair, we don’t know if he’s injured or otherwise incapacitated.

In a match against America in July that I watched, Saucedo was having a very good match but got injured. He's been in and out of the lineup since then. Last I knew he was still struggling with getting back to full health but I haven't heard anything in a few weeks.

Bofo is probably a sub in the depth chart, but has had some starting duties due to an injury for a starter. He's scored a goal, and had 2 or 3 assists. Generally, he's done reasonably well, but hasn't killed it. However, he's getting much more time at Pumas than he did at RSL, and has acquitted himself well in that time. Both he and Sava in Brazil have seen similar playing time and production. It's both good and painful to see that be the case.

Maybe one out of two there. I miss Sava for sure. Bofo, meh.

Especially because it's essentially a Bofo for Meram swap, and Meram is better on both attack and defense. Put 2019 Plata in that mix too; Meram and Rusnak on the left in place of Bofo and Plata gets us much more.

Great points. Either way I don't miss bofo. Thought he was over rated and lived off of what could be jnstead of what is when it came to what he brought RSL.

    Hope he proves me wrong.
