Keegan, currently playing with Bohemians FC (Republic of Ireland) scored only 2 minutes into the match in a 3-1 Boh's victory over Tottenham in a preseason friendly for the 2002-2003 Eircom League Champions on Tuesday, March 4th. Spurs' team was composed primarily of first-team players. Bohemians will be seeded for the First Qualifying Round of this year's UEFA Champions League, those games to be played on July 16th & 23rd, 2003. Good news for him. The Magpie
I keep reading these glowing reports about Paul Keegan. Are you sure this is the same guy the Revs had?

He's been back in Ireland for a couple of years now, and has done quite well for himself all things considered. He was playing for Bray Wanderers at one point and was banging in goals left and right, only to be felled by a cruciate ligament injury that kept him out of the game for some time. It would seem that, judging by any number of match reports I've seen over the last year or two that he's been playing more as a target man, rather than out wide as he was usually played with the Revs. Maybe he's been able to add an element of finesse to his hard-charging style. No matter, he'll be having his shot at the Champions League later this year. Nice guy and good to see how his career's panned out. The Magpie
Paul Keegan was never my favourite player -frustrated the heck out of me. But good to know he's found success!
i've always liked paul. I met him when i went to a Worcester Wildfire game (remember the A-League?). I said ''Mr. Keegan, can I have your autograph?" He simply replied "Mr. Keegan is my father. You can call me Paul." My father and I talked to him for quite a while before the match started. One of the most memorable days in my life. I still laugh when i think about it. He is a great guy. Cheers!
