Antigua and Barbuda beat Guatemala 1-0 in the first leg of the third round of CONCACAF 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifying. The second leg will be played in Guatemala next Tuesday. Possibly getting closer to Klinsmann vs Nowak.

http://stream.nbcdeportes.com/index_nbcdeportes-world-cup-qualifiers.html?pid=18629 2nd half of the 2nd leg of Antigua and Barbuda vs Guatemala (Nowak vs Pappa) is underway. 0-0 at the half, Antigua and Barbuda leads 1-0 on aggregate. A&B's keeper is saving them majorly so far. (edit - til he screwed up at Guatemala failed to take advantage just as I posted this)

Funny you should ask. A friend flew out to Oregon this weekend to run alongside a buddy in the Pine to Palms Ultramarathon, so I looked up the results to see how the guy did. Who won? http://www.ultralive.net/p2p/webcast.php Nate Jaqua! 100 miles up and down mountains in 18 hours! "Wow, he ran farther in 18 hours than ..." Gentlemen, start your snark-gines.
Andrew Dykstra starts for DDC United tonight against Árabe Unido, looking for his third straight shutout (in CCL play).
Robert Earnshaw starting for Vancouver in their game against CD Olimpia. Francis and Amarikwa starting for SJ, Duka and Oduro starting for Montreal. Nyassi on the bench for SJ, Fire legend Drogba not in the 18 for Montreal.
Forgot to mention that Tornaghi also started for Vancouver, and got the shutout. Former Fire Goalkeepers in CCL play this season: 5 games, 4 wins, 1 draw, 4 shutouts, 1 goal allowed
We'll need a keeper next year probably. It wouldn't be a very bold choice, but I wouldn't mind if he came back. He'd probably be back up if Busch stayed another season though.
In honor of #TwoPoleThursday or #2PoleThursday as seen on #cf97 twitter today, I inflict you with poorly done MS Paint:
Quincy could have made those $450 Just Don hats for $50, as long as Matt Watson was willing to help him with the design and graphics. Robert Earnshaw probably would have advised the Fire to price their hats at $500 like he does at Blaq Zinq.
Rolfe scores his 10th goal of the season, his first time in double digits, but DC loses. Quincy scores (5th goal in 13 games with the Quakes), but San Jose loses. Drogba scores, Duka scores, Montreal winning 3-0 at the moment.
