Aidan Morris and Boro lost in the promotion playoff semis. Boro much like the crew can hold possession all day and do nothing with it. They have a moneyball attacking 4 that stinks. When their playmaking 8 and Aidan Morris clone Hayden Hackney went down with injury, they were doomed. Aidan and Malanda (formerly of charlotte) finished the year as the two best players other than Hackney. Everton is looking at Morris, and I think that should be a decent landing spot.

The whole story is like a corny comedy. The guy - supposedly an actual club staff member- was spotted filmng and some Boro guys took off after him. He ran onto a nearly golf course and hide in a clubhouse mens room, donning some sort of disguise and then dashing away across the first tee box, pursued by the Boro guys as somewhat confused golfers were waiting to tee off.
After two years at Boro, I'd be thrilled if Morris left for a Premiership club. Boro seemed a solid bet for promotion until they weren't. At least Wrexham failed to get to the playoffs.
So the Guardians longtime PA announcer passes away earlier this month, and now the Crew's longtime PA announcer is moving to Colorado... #sigh
So we lost the VP of operations, the team photographer, and the PA announcer in the past few weeks. Weird coincidences

The Ohio State football announcer (Bob Kennedy) died a few years ago. Greg Murray retired. Josh Poland is leaving for Colorado. Maybe things really do come in threes.
