Might as well post one of A*mercat if we’re trying to cause widespread macular degeneration in this thread!

Oof. I immediately regret my decision to go chunky.

To reset, here's some eye candy. My youngest (6th grade) had to do an art project on pointillism. The class chose animals as the theme. Rather than do a bird or a lame horse, he opted for a dinosaur.

Bite your ********ing tongue. Josh showed up at the announcement for Saved the Crew at Endeavor. He is a legend. He was the last connection to the 08 team, since he started for us in 2010, when GBS and most of the team was still here. He was the locker room guy at the end, that mentor type. He's a goddamned hero and I won't have you or anyone else sully his ********ing name.

Yet Chad's head was the one who tied the Fire game and gave us the go ahead goal in the MLS Cup. Yes, those game from GBS, but Chad himself is also a valid option, 100%. Especially if you remember that at the end of the 2007 season, Chad was not playing, and came out and looked wistfully at the stadium as he had suffered his second concussion, and was worried he would never play again.

He went on to win MLS Defender of the Year the next 2 seasons and scored those important goals for us.

Gaven also could deserve to be enshrined someday. Not for a bit but he was here from 2006 through the lean years, and he survived the culling in 2010. He was a rock for us.

But I think it should be Marshall or GBS first and I'm mad as hell that we didn't induct GBS when he was here as the coach of the Galaxy.

I remember sitting with my cousin, @electrickeeper in the little supporters section in 135 called "Fort Knox" for Knox Cameron that a couple of friends had, and we called ourselves "Seb's Soldiers" haha, inside the greater group. There are games where almost every photo I took was of Seba. Kinda pathetic if you ask me haha.

Even less will know who Mais and Clark are. I don't remember seeing them play even though I saw a few games from 2001 to 2005 before I got my season tickets in 2006. 2006 was when I first started following closely.

I remember when that started, we had Capos for a short period of time on the pitch, I think it alternated between Clem from Crew Union in one half and Blake from HSH in the other, and GBS came over for a corner when Blake was running the bullhorn, and Blake just started bowing to him right then and there and the crowd joined in, and the tradition was born. 2008 was a season of so many traditions being born that we take for granted these days. It was a ********ing magical year. Nothing can ever touch that season.

Your penchant for spinning bullshit into gold might be the only thing expanding wider than the PepeSylvia-like net of Kamara's team history.

If they know Mais now, it's because he's the coach at THE.

If you took a survey at a game in LDC, out of 20,000 fans, how many of them ever saw Brian McBride play for the Crew? If it's over 200 I'd be stunned.

For that matter, there probably aren't a whole lot more folks sitting there who ever saw Sigi in his Lamar scarf standing at the touchline.

(The unfortunate thing about Mais is that he should have been an MLS all timer, National teamer and a shoe in for the HoF but injuries robbed him of all that. When his legs worked, he was brilliant. What we mostly got was a shadow of what would have been, but pity isn't a reason to induct the guy.)

Anyways, if it's not Guille, and apparently he's busy that day, then my guess would be Dante. Knowing this outfit, he wouldn't cost much, whereas flying GBS up from Argentina would mean spending some money on team history, which they certainly seem reluctant to do.

With Mais, it was as much the ankle as anything (Mrs KG worked with a guy who also was a PT and helped out with the Crew early on, especially Mais (and is close friends with Mais still).

I would love to see Maiz. He was also a good person. If I remember he had a good run during the 96 Olympics.

I like Dante, but he doesn't have the creds alot of the other players have. Gavin is the last player jersey I bought.

I really just want to see the history of the team on display. Those early players built the foundation of this org. If the circle of honor was actually used more it would be easier to decide who belongs. As for the rules didn't the former ownership define the criteria? If so this would be one of those things I would mind seeing the current group redefine

With Dante they can also count his contributions with the FO. I have no idea what they are but hes worked there for a lot of years. You're right to say that his contributions on the field may not add up.to.enough, although his not suing the team when Andrulis screwed him over by blocking his ability to sign elsewhere ought to weigh into the equation.

Eddie Gavin would be a great choice. As long as they steer clear.of.Thomas Dooley. I'd go and throw rotten eggs.

He is still there, he is part of the remote squad calling two games every Saturday, usually the 4pm game and then a later one. He is on Apple TV later today as well, I’m guessing fox is just calling the game from a monitor and he was the easiest to get

GBS first and foremost, but any thoughts on Cunningham?

Cunningham is one of my all time favorite players, but I don’t think he comes close to getting in.

Isn't he the team's all time leading goal scorer? If so, he should get in eventually.
