nice Werner ties Lewa at 18 goals in 1BL for the season!!!! Even if both goals are errors from Dortmund. Werner is type of player where one can't make errors near due to his quick reactions/speed. Scores a double vs Dortmund in a 3-3 draw. to make it 2-1. LMAO Burki you ain't Neuer. https://streamja.com/RLoE to make it 2-2. https://streamja.com/dQvv Werner's 2019-2020 season 18 goals and 5 assists in 16 games in 1BL 23 goals and 9 assists in 24 games in all competition. also Werner is now -2 goals away from his 100th career pro goal -19 goals away from his 100th 1BL goal -4 goals away from becoming RB Leipzig's all time top scorer. let's go German player winning 1BL top scorer canon!!!!
not only is Werner a 1BL: top scorer contender he's also a European Golden Shoe contender!!!! Most goals scored in Europe’s top five leagues this season:🇩🇪 Timo Werner (18)🇵🇱 Robert Lewandowski (18)🇮🇹 Ciro Immobile (17)🏴 Jamie Vardy (16)Timo Werner has Lewy in his sight. 👀 pic.twitter.com/USkuqvZb2u— Squawka (@Squawka) December 17, 2019
Timo Werner in the Bundesliga this season:• 1335 minutes • 18 goals • 5 assists A goal or assist every 58 minutes. 🤯 pic.twitter.com/GLyn6RMIBl— Statman Dave (@StatmanDave) December 17, 2019
Sky Info: Real with a serious interest in Werner https://sport.sky.de/fussball/artik...rner-im-visier-von-real-madrid/11908051/33895
Werner scores a double in a 3-1 win vs Union. to make it 1-1. https://streamja.com/0Gkj to make it 3-1. https://streamja.com/JbmQ
Takes his tally to 20 goal in 1BL for the season and now leads the whole league overtaking Lewa. for the European Golden Shoe he's only 3 behind Lazio's Immobile for 2nd place.
Werner this season 25 goals and 10 assists in 26 games in all competition. also his double gives him his 100th career pro goal. now at 14 goals away from scoring his 100th goal for RB Leipzig 17 goals away from his 100th 1BL goal
When was the last German became top scorer? I think Kiessling if I'm not wrong. Feels like thousand years ago Really hopeful Werner could get it this season.
it was 2015 Alexander Meier. feels like ages to me too because after that it was all Lewa vs Auba. That's like half a decade. I really hope he wins the 1BL Top Scorer canon, it's time for a German to win again. As for European Golden Shoe, would love to see a German winning that but 1BL is screwed that EPL, La Liga, Ligue 1, and Serie A play 4 games more than them. It makes it all the harder for anyone in Germany to win that one. It sucks because he's only behind 1 player in all Europe.
Liverpool are Timo Werner's preferred destination if he leaves RB Leipzig, according to Bild. He should be available for €60m this summer. #RBL #LFC— Ronan Murphy (@swearimnotpaul) January 20, 2020
Having forward of Mane, Salah and Werner is mental. Defenders will need oxygen tank and roller blade to catch them.
have to say I think I prefer Werner to Liverpool over Man U/Chelsea or Real/Barca. Serie A is interested but Werner isn't interested in playing in Italy. he would fit the style better. He's improving under Nagelsmann and will likely improve more under Klopp too. And yeah it would be crazy to have to defend against those players and others. I would be iffy about any young player going to Barca/Real way too much pressure and would likely easily be axed too. Could risk if things go South to waste some years. And that's where German coach might be better.
LOL, Chandler calls Werner, best German CF. ... Leipzig striker Timo Werner: “He is definitely the best German striker. 20 goals in his younger years - he is an absolute top striker. Braking him is not that easy. Man's cover like before, and chasing you to the toilet doesn't work anymore. All players have to work there. He is freezing in front of the gate. At Arjen Robben everyone knew that he always goes inside and always shoots to the left. It still worked 2,000 times. " I mean he's the best one by default any interesting CF after is pretty much 98-onwards and likely some years before any breakthrough for realz. Selke has crashed and burned this season and Waldschmidt is interesting but spent too much time injured this season. Last season was also Waldschmidt's 1st real pro season, he also needs that massively important thing called consistency, which means year after year. I do look forward to seeing more and more 98-onwards breakthrough the higher levels. The more options one has the better. Also the more success in 1BL the more it reflects better on Germany.
Werner on whether Brazzo's statement annoyed him: "I don't lie in bed with open eyes thinking about this assessment. Of course they have the best 9 in the world in Lewandowski but I'm not concerned about that. Many teams defend deep against us but I'm still scoring goals" Werner: "I still see a lot of potential to improve in myself, especially with the things that I supposedly or actually still cannot do. At 23, top strikers like Suarez & Lewandowski were not at the same level they were at when they reached 28. So I have plenty of time to improve"
Lewandowski on his favourite strikers: “A difficult question. If we talk about nine, I would say: Karim Benzema, Timo Werner, Luis Suarez, Sergio Aguero and Kylian Mbappé.”— Bayern & Germany (@iMiaSanMia) May 14, 2020
