Ok I get it -- its personal for you. I don't want to hit a sore spot. I don't think you'll see him do that again. And for everyone else in here their are no facts being discussed, only opinions
So the FACT that neither Tim Cahill nor Everton have broken any rules or laws is somehow now not a FACT but an opinion? Okay...
Gee- go away for three days and everyone gets a bit chippy! I think I know why- we've been winning so there's no-one on here trolling about rotation for us to respond to......................
Have you ever know this Tossoff Bitch to have any interest in a subject other than he's bored and he like to stir things up?
That isn't fair. It is plain to see that he is the dark priest of tosh here at BS and he is just trying to sermonize to the masses. By the looks of it, he has quite a following on BS especially on the MUFC board. Or maybe his D&D group is defunct and he really is just board.
Tim Cahill has just made a public apology for any offence caused by his goal celebration. FACT. Well done for him and Everton for taking this step after some reflection. In doing so they have acted responsibly. Opinion. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/e/everton/7274812.stm Teso, perhaps you could write to Everton telling them that they should take back this apology because you disagree with it. Request.
Kudos to Arsenal for knocking AC Milan out of the Champions League. Now for Liverpool to set their sights on knocking out the other San Siro resident.
Thats an amazing accomplishment for Arsenal. Great performance by them over two legs. Kudos also to Fenerbahce who also pulled an upset by beating Seville on penalties after a 5:5 AG score.
Porto in 05 (to Inter) Us in 06 (to Benfica) Barca in 07 (to us) Milan in 08 (to Arsenal) The round of 16 is not kind to the defending champion.
Great job by Arse in knocking out Milan...keeper was late to react on the 1st goal but the shot was well placed and it had a Gerrardesque quality to it - Fabregas really wanted it bad...overall, the better team won. I thought Maldini was a beast, especially for an old fart. That Pato kid should pass the ball once in a while - he has a lot of potential and I'm sure he'll eventually become a force to be reckoned with. I saw Sevilla-Fener goals and Fener keeper massivelly screwed up on 1st two goals - he did redeem himself in PKs though...
Not impressed by either side -- Milan squeezed the last juice from the lemon when they got by us. Now they looks like a bunch of old tarts. Arsenal did not play well -- got a lucky strike that the keeper should have saved for their first goal. L'Arse can thank the crazy Celtic fan for that goal. Second one was just the result of the old tarts trying too hard to score a goal.
LOL.. Nah, This guy averages over 16 posts a day, he really is bored. He used to be a total flaming troll but he's learnt to be a bit smarter to drag people along for a while longer before they tired of him.
You have to look at it from his perspective. First, Milan has never lost to a british club at San Siro. Second, they are the quintessential European club team, absolute specialists in the CL regardless of their poor domestic form (kinda like us but more seasoned). They are masters of neutralizing any and all opposition, no matter what style they play. Milan close down all space used by the opposition and cuts out their movement and flow of the game. Thats why sides like Manchester and Barcelona can look so vulnerable against an old side like Milan. Arsenal was on the verge of falling victim to this tactic within the first 20 minutes but remained patient and played it smart. They held on to the ball, did not panic, contained whatever threat Milan might have posed, and utilized their pace to eventually run Milan into the ground.
Perhaps you could finally answer the question in regard to what rules or laws either Tim Cahill or Everton broke?
In other news, Tim Cahill apologises profusely to all corner flags for condoning repeated punching of these posts with his previous celebrations. A spokesman for the corner flags refused to comment, in case Teso called it a FACT! I refuse to acknowledge this Aussie as blue!
Umm didn't the celebration somewhat condone what his brother had done?? I totally believe it was an unacceptable celebration and am disappointed in Timmy C.
Well no laws of the land were broken AFAIK. But as Cahill and Everton have themselves acknowledged, the actions of the player were inappropriate. Everton themselves now agree with me and have taken the steps I expected them to take.
I didn't know that his brother had been arrested and jailed for crossing his wrists together in public! Shameful!
