    What, Spellcheck?

I'm supposed to see Dreamcatcher Tuesday. I have no desire to see it so I threw the tickets out.

I heard it sucked royally, but I always thought the previews were good enough to get me to watch. Any word on the movie?

I thought it was okay, but I didn't read the original King story so I can't compare movie vs. book. Some humorous parts in the film, thought Jason Lee did a good job, the pacing seemed very slow, didn't care for the flashbacks, guy who played Jonesy was great, at some points Morgan Freeman seemed like he was reprising his role from "Outbreak", and there was a pretty gruesome bathroom scene (well, gruesome if you think about what the guy had to go through). However, the main reason I went to see it was because of the 10-minute Matrix short, "Final Flight of the Osiris," and that, OTOH, was pretty damned cool.

This is way more poignant and coherent than most of Alex's posts on the Politics forum.

I walked out of Dreamcatcher. Dreadful film.

The Ani-Matrix, on the other hand, was supremely badass. (And extremely unfair - it's just not right to make a cartoon character look that fuckable.)

    Awesome.

Not going to see Dreamcatcher. Hearing that it's been walked out of makes that even more certain.

It's sad seeing Jason Lee wasting his career like this. For those of you keeping score, his last three movies were Dreamcatcher, A Guy Thing and Stealing Harvard. A damn shame.

Oh my. I just saw the end of this on HBO. I couldn't turn away -- talk about a trainwreck.

I highly recommend the last 30 minutes of this movie. You will laugh your ass off. The end is simply hilarious. I don't want to ruin it, but...

[result] when duddits turns into an alien...i almost pissed myself laughing [/result]
