Because all he had to do was be a little bit more aware and he would have stayed on. It’s not like our defenders were purposely ignoring him because he was in an offside position. It was poor play by Liverpool, not a good offside trap.
Play him as a sub until the team has any idea how to play with him on the field? ideally they wouldn’t have bought him at all since he doesn’t fit remotely with the other pieces.
