Haaland is supposedly going to City, the EPL just eat's the Continent's young lol. I look at Arsenal and to be honest the Top 4 possibility is going to be even more out of reach next season IF United get their act together under Ragnick. Although it's funny how the Class of 92 is taking shots at him in the media.
That's why the Super League was the off ramp for the US owners plus Levy. There are now 3 toy teams in the league, plus Man Utd who have a vast commercial income. Liverpool are doing well, but are not so naive to imagine that have a mortgage on CL football. Realistically there is little chance for Arsenal to get regular CL football unless they luck into some great players and other teams are run badly. Liverpool kind of had that good fortune when they got ahead of the curve at a time Utd and Arsenal were very poor. The ITKs always claim Arse can be "smarter in the market" than other teams - but actually what would be the basis for it? Utd, City, Chelsea (and probably now Newcastle) have dominant market positions in terms of access to more money than everyone else. There is no real reason to think the likes of Spurs, Arsenal and Liverpool can outperform the transfer market in the longer term.
That reminds me of this sequence. The difference here is the outlet pass goes out much quicker and of course, to a much higher quality midfielder “Arsenal are in the groove now, they’re in the mood now. And this hard running style is leaving Leicester trailing”Yesterday was the 1️⃣ year anniversary of one of the finest team goals you will EVER see 🤩 #AFC pic.twitter.com/n6hV6ksUPa— Cannon Insider (@CannonInsider) October 23, 2019
