I'm bored, finished watching the fireworks out of my window, they were crap!
Should be a good game tomorrow, as of now all i know is that Yobo is set to return, which i'm damn glad about, and that Carsley looks as though he won't play, i can't remember because i don't particularly like him.

    Optimistic Score Prediction 2-1 Everton.
Realistic Score Prediction 2-2 or 3-1 Chelsea.

Ah, wouldn't it be nice to think we're actually going to win this one?

You know, I don't think it's going to be a blowout or anything but I am certainly realistic. It's going to take more than one goal to beat these guys, and we've only been able to muster up more than one goal in a couple of games.

Either way, I'm ready. Work hard and look like we deserve to be where we are. Go Toffees!

Not necessarily. Chelsea's struggled to score against the better EPL teams this year. If we're lucky, we may be able to pull out a 0-0 or 1-1 draw.

But they've found their shooting boots lately, scoring 8 goals in their last two Premiership matches. That scares me.

Everton come out firing as Watson puts a screamer on net that was blocked by a handball (of course that wasn't called). I'm keeping with my pessimism. We suck. :D

Lots of pressure from Chelsea early. Even our midfield is busy defending...

Cahill nearly scores on a header. That boy is something else.

Robben follows up with a beauty, Martyn saves. Everton defending well.

This game is making me a nervous wreck. I can't even concentrate and my stupid radio is cutting out. Argh! I can't take the pressure!

    HT 0-0

That score indicates exactly where we ought to be, given the play so far in the game. We've had two great shots on goal, but Chelsea has dominated possession and had entirely too many corners. And Robben has been such a pest this half that he's bound to score sooner or later. With the way we're playing, I'd be thrilled to hang on for a draw.

The thing is, though, we're better than we've been playing. I just know it. We haven't been playing particularly bad, but we haven't been particularly great either. We can do better. Moysie, pep up our boys during the break!

Well it's a scoreless first half. Both sides have to get themselves together...

    Defensively, we've looked just superb.

Everton chance by Stubbs headed just wide. Chelsea defense was completely exposed and he just missed.

If we're going to go anywhere this season, we have to score on chances like that.

The commentators are still hopefull we'll come away with a win, but my stomach is full of dread. I'm expecting a late goal by Chelsea to give them all three points.

On a positive note, they're not quite as together as they were the first half.

Damn, Robben puts it just wide. Again. He's going to score. It was way too close.

Campbell comes on up front with Bent to see if we can get something going in the last 10 minutes. Watson goes off.

McFadden comes on for Pistone. I think Weir was booked for something but I'm not sure what happened.

At least we're not giving up. We keep pushing forward, trying to create chances. Gotta respect that.

Cahill was great, our defense was great. We just couldn't finish it. Oh well. I'm disappointed but not surprised.
