This is a tough game at the best of times. Let's hope that two Derby games in quick succession tired the Toffees out. A big away win would be just the ticket right now as we look to keep our good run going. Come on Arsenal!

I tend to agree with this analysis. Everton are due for a letdown- they rarely play very well against Arsenal, anyway.

A nervy 1-2 win for le arse. And please. Please no more Alex Song.

I don't know...he did pretty well in the second half against Cardiff....of course that means if he plays he'll probably have a shocker against Everton.

This is going to be a tough one...but it's a must win...a win puts us 8 points clear of Everton and leaves us free to chase Villa and Chelsea w/o having to worry about Everton coming up from behind.

Does anyone know if Fellaini's suspension is over? Is there any news about whether or not Arteta might play?

And FFS...stick at least one person on Cahill on the set pieces! (even if he's behind the goal when a free kick is taken).

Damn my lack of Setanta. I call 2-1 to the Arsenal, and we go level on points with Villa.

I don't care about Fellaini. I don't rate him very highly. He relies too much on his natural strengths to be effective and really is not that great of a player. I am much more worried about Cahill. He has a crazy way of being in the right place at the right time, and you cannot teach that or practice against it. I cannot understand how someone of his size can win score so many headers.

Against our lot he could probably win every header just by standing on his tippy toes.

Looking forward to seeing Ade and RVP up top together again. Ade had a little skip in his step when he came on against Cardiff and looked lively. Too many times this season he's looked dull. I have a good feeling about him coming into this game.

Keep Djourou and Toure at the back.

Denilson and Diaby in the midfield.

    Lets get it done.

I'm conjuring up a little DB10 and calling 7-0 to the Arsenal.

Should be a good one. This fixture last year featured some Eduardo magic...who will it be this time?

^^ Thank you. Wow, sometimes you just need a healthy reminder of what Bergkamp could do. Those are some stunning highlights, and at the end of his career.

should be a tough game. everton is playing well. is arteta still injured?

if we can get a 1st half goal, i think we can hit everton on the break in the 2nd half.

3-1 to the arsenal. rvp with a brace, and the third from gallas.

their attack does little for me, cahill can pop up in the air, but anichebe certainly doesnt scare me at all. they could get the odd goal from pienaar or osman, but i think we can dictate the match.

van persie seems to be in such good form, i think he can get something done.
2-0 sounds about right.. maybe 2-1.

yeah, and i always like to see the celebrations of the invincibles squad; seemed to almost "sincerely" congratulate each other...cherishing each others touch of class...

    (...sigh)

This is true, but I saw the same thing in last years squad. Maybe it wasn't as classic as the invincibles, but at least several of the guys seemed to be loving it out there, and celebrations were sincere.
Not so much this year, not nearly to that extent at least.

ugghhh no chance at the top four tommorow. stupid villa and man u wrapped up points today. maybe this weekend they'll slip. but villa 2nd place now. WOW. but 3-1 to gunners. Ill say a goal off a corner for each of us. and RVP assist . A goal from RVP and a easy tap in to ade from RVP. Oh and cahill wil get it from everton by playin sneaky and a red card to lescott . but nasri will be mvp if played central

    That's quite a detailed prediction....

I say 2-1, but I don't know who will score or how we will play. It will be a tough game.

If we need to sign a versatile player, Cahill would not be a bad choice. He seems to be able to play almost anywhere.
