It's about an 8 hour drive from my home to Columbus. I'm already making plans for the road trip.

    True...

I'll take my son for sure. My little girl is only two and would cause me to miss most of the game as she continually tried to run away and find something interesting to do.

YES!!!!! I'm up for the 12 hour drive to Dallas. I was planning on taking a vacation right after the world cup, so this is perfect! I'll ask for the time off from work tomorrow.

    From the official site: http://www.evertonfc.com/news/index.php?page_id=10253

    DALLAS PRE-SEASON ANNOUNCEMENT
Everton are awaiting official confirmation regarding the kick-off of the club's second pre-season fixture as part of the pre-season trip to the United States.

The Blues will face Club America at FC Dallas' Pizza Hut Park over the course of the weekend July 29, 30.

The current status is that the match will take place on Sunday, July 30.

However, due to circumstance beyond the club's control, confirmation has not yet been forthcoming regarding a confirmed time for the game as Dallas are also scheduled to play Colorado over the same weekend. One of the fixtures may have to be switched.

Confirmation as to which has not yet been provided by the tour organisers.

Everton will, of course, let fans know as soon as the relevant information is made available.

However, for the time being the club advises that supporters delay making definite travel plans for the game until the time of the game is confirmed.

Noticed on the Everton site that they will be in Frisco,Tx on June 29th for a 8:30PM game against Club America @ Pizza Hut Park....Frisco is just north of Dallas.
Unfortunately no tickets or ticket prices yet available.....I hope they do come to Dallas / Frisco because I sure would enjoy seeing some English Football in person.

    Please spread the word...

The fine folks at O'Shaughnessy's Public House have agreed to be the host pub for Evertonians visiting Columbus! There will be drink specials ($1.00-2.00 off each drink) on Wednesday, July 26 before and after the match. O'Shaughnessy's is a family friendly place, so kids are welcome, even after the match! The kitchen will be open before the game, but probably not after the game, so get your appetite sated before we take over Crew Stadium! Come On You Blues!!

Sounds great, but will they be shuttling people to be there in time for the FC Dallas game beforehand?

Also, all are welcome to the Inferno tailgate http://www.the-inferno.net beforehand. We're at the Carnival Pavilion between the green lots on the north end of the practice fields. I'll post a map here soon.

Ummm, I have no clue when they'll leave for the match. Since I'm not going, I'm gonna leave that for the folks that are actually there.

May I digress, it might be a conventional wisdom for Everton FC to make their annual pilgrimage to north Texas since its US representative (Everton FC America) has a youth soccer academy based in the outskirts of Dallas.

You do know that the game in Dallas is on Saturday, the 29th, right? Unless you meant you'll be heading to Columbus on Tuesday night/Wednesday morning?!

Either way, have a great time!
