If there are any Everton fans on here you might be interested in this. Everton have an official supporters club in the region, ESCEE, Everton Supporters Club Eastern Europe. This is the ONLY such club in Eastern Europe for any UK team. That's right, there is NONE for MU, Arsenal, Liverpool, Celtic etc etc. We were the first and are proud of it. We have around 40 members at present. About 20 in Hungary but also in Russia, Ukraine, Slovakia, Czech Republic etc, of various nationalities. We are looking for more members in RUSSIA. Good try but NO... we EVERTONIANS were the first. ESCEE was founded in 2002. Sorry. And there is another BIG difference between our supporters club and the Russian Chelsea one. Whereas ESCEE was set up by real Everton fans (mostly, but not all, ex-pat Brits) who have supported Everton for years thru thick and thin the Moscow lot seem to be "new" fans jumping on the new Chelsea bandwagon... I know there was a small but loyal band of AC Milan followers in Moscow. All of them are Russian and they are so fanatical, they even made it to the Lokomotiv-Milan Champions League match last year to root for the Italian club. I leave it to you to guess how many surviving memebers the club has now. Of course, me, my wife and my brother-in-law make up the entire contigent of the Moscow Buffalo Sabres Fan Club, founded in 1999. Which, incidentally, beats the Evertonians with a hockey stick.
