There could be some news coming out on the scouting front for RSL. Maybe a scouting director with deep ties outside the country or something. Just a rumor.

 

That’s just the weirdest part for me.

We have a part owner who owns Crystal Palace and a bunch of other teams in leagues all over. You’d think that, to maximize their investments, they would share some scouting resources and move players around within their own network to maximize their potential?

Good read for league cap nerds. There's some good inside info on some teams and how they use expiring GAM and roster models to their advantage. West teams are probably tomorrow.

Isn't that the transfer fee? Isn't that usually what's mentioned in MLS? Salary usually isn't mentioned.

 

Yeah. No idea what else is entailed, but $15M guarantees that the player can negotiate leaving, even if his current club doesn’t wanna.

But it should be noted that both Cinci and Portland have triggered Berterame’s release clause, but neither were able to negotiate a contract with him.

 

But we are blessed to see it in person so it’s cool

 

…even if Berterame and Messi are on the bench the whole game. Still, so cool.

Chicho Arango - who just signed s new deal with San Jose - asked for and received a transfer out of the league, to Atletico Nacional of Colombia.

I think he is more of a gamble. He had a breakout year. He’s Ligue 1 in that his team won promotion.
