Rooting for him. Turns 18 in September. Getting to an age where things are gonna happen one way or the other most likely regarding his professional prospects and place at SO4.

Not sure what level that is ^ it’s not the first team. So, either the U19s or U23s (if those still exist).
It’s the U19 Bundesliga Cup, a weekend tournament with 8 teams. Schalke finished second in their group and advance to the semis. Here are the highlights of Schalke’s match against Herta BSC earlier today, featuring the unusual keeper goal!

Transferred to Genk. Looks like a 3-year deal and will start with Jong Genk: Welkom 𝗘𝘃𝗮𝗻 👋De 18-jarige Amerikaan sluit aan bij de selectie van Jong Genk onder leiding van Hans Somers 💙🔗 https://t.co/krb6zgW63k#mijnploeg #riseabove pic.twitter.com/4Dx7eSwULx— KRC Genk (@KRCGenkofficial) September 6, 2022
Good luck to the 18 year old sluit at the Jong Genk! He seemed to have a positive impact at the Knappenschmiede, hope he can get to the first team at Genk soon or this move isn't much progress.
Genk’s scouting and later stage youth development has been top tier in the past decade or so. Definitely like this move.
Got much bigger. That’s great. This is a better place for him than Schalke I would think. We’ll find out soon enough.

Evan Rotundo joined Genk from Schalke in September. "The American youth international has signed a contract with KRC Genk for three seasons and will join Jong Genk." His Transfermarket page. He is #73 with the club. I did a quick look at the match reports after he joined the club. Not all include those who played, but his name has not appeared yet.
