Didn't accuse France of stealing a chant. Was offended on how out of sync the fans were when they tried to follow along. Also, I know this is the internet, but that comment was suppose to come out as a joke.

However, when I said I wanted to see Portugal pull off an upset, I wasn't kidding even if it's a undeserving team like Portugal. I just want to see them win for the lols. :D

Nike must be happy to have its ugly templates be featured in this final.

Pretty fun EC considering Spain got beaten by Italy to get beaten by Germany to get beaten by France to get beaten by Portugal which managed to win only one match within regular time.

The debate will go on b/c Cristiano Ronaldo didn't play for most of the match, haha.

But what a career capstone for CR7.

Kante offers more to the team than Pogba. France needed more steel in the midfield and defense as well as better transition from defense to offense. Pogba's concentration tends to be intermittent, but this rarely happens with Kante. Deschamps made some mistakes today, and this was the biggest. Maybe he also should have brought on Martial earlier.

Asian Cup is the best. I like it more than any other continental competition.
    Then again, I support Korea.

Yeah every match is a nail-biter just because Korea is playing. :D
In that sense, I kind of like the 24 team format.

Did anyone else catch Pepe puking at the end of the match? I still can't stand his theatrics but I admired his full throttle performances.

I'd put a lot on lots on quantity of world class talent, many of whom play together and all of whom willing to put team over self. I bet you could "coach" these guys up and you'd get 90% of that given how brilliant they look for bayern.

The bar for this German side is unrealistically high I fully admit, but that's because this team is/was phenomenally talented and deep and we should be talking about as one of greatest runs of one of greatest teams of all time.

As Ballack mentioned, Low never got all these pieces setup cohesively and I blame a lot not on Lows intelligence but instead on his making things difficult for himself like CF/FB issue this year.

Maybe because getting everything setup cohesively is impossible when talking about human beings. Yet he got 100% of them I felt. Look at Spain, I'd say even deeper than Germany in terms of quality, been failing for the second time in a row. Performance is hard and never granted.
