I don't think this has been posted yet.....

"The United States' progress to the last eight of the FIFA World Cup last year may have produced a new generation of homegrown stars but Major League Soccer still looks to European imports to provide invaluable know-how."

Considering the most recent quote by Grimandi's agent:

"I think he's hoping to wait this out and get someone to basically say, 'You can go,"' McCabe said. "MLS has basically bent over backwards for this guy, and this is not being (conducted) in a professional manner by Gilles."

I think some of thair ambassadors need to be recalled...

What did they say in that article that wasn't true?

The reason teams have gone with some older more experienced players from Europe, is a simple fact that they do have much more big game exposure, and have alot more to offer in soccer advice then most players in MLS.

The article pointed out that MLS is no longer considered (shouldn't have ever been considered....) a retirement league which is a step in the right direction, but all the victims here have to find something to moan about.
