Well, the English leagues start on Saturday ( haven't got a scooby as to when the others do)

That thrilling time when two teams can ruin my weekend or make it decent.

Hopefully Leicester will decide not to waste half the season messing about this year. Ostrichhead is out and the Tinkerman is in spending many many pound notes. On a side note, if you have ever spent any money in the Duty Free shops in Thailand I appreciate it greatly.

Anyway, best part of the season is upon us. Opening day. Always sunny, always good to be in the boozer.

Definitely excited to see how the teams look this year! Nice to see Bournemouth, Norwich and Watford make returns to the BPL. I like watching those games just to see if they can play spoiler - much like watching Leicester, QPR and Burnley games last season.

Up the underdogs. Make things interesting.

Things typically get boring for a non-supporter if we know next year's UEFA CL teams by Boxing Day. Wigan's first year...an absolute joy to watch.

You know, it's getting to the point that I expect to see Coutinho score a blast like that every week. Wow.

The English Prem. is as droll and predictable as the NBA, but I'm going to rep you for fun use of the word scooby.

Actually, it's not great at all, it's because a bunch of right-wing thugs called the English Defense League (EDL) scheduled a march through Birmingham the same day the Rowdies were to be in town to play Villa. So, discretion being the better part and such, the match was rescheduled.

Well that's not great. I was wondering if this would be a recurring fixture but apparently not.

On a brighter note, the SuperCup match yesterday was fantastic. Maybe the Crew should feel less bad about blowing a 3 goal second half lead after Barcelona did the same thing?
