    Here is the European dreamteam for the month of september....
    GK- Buffon (Inter)
    DEFENCE- Chivu (Ajax), Puyol (Barca), I. Helguera (Madrid), R. Carlos (Madrid)
    MIDFIELD- Ballack (FC Bayern), Valerón (Depor), Makaay (Depor), Wiltord (Arsenal)
    ATTACK- F. Inzaghi (AC Milan), del Piero (Juve)

    Neither is Wiltord, but neither of them is going to knock off the two Italians up front - Inzaghi in particular.

    I'd put Makaay instead of Del Piero upfront.

    Hattrick against Bayern amongst many other goals.

    Seems VERY Serie A and La Liga biased. Gilberto Silva or Patrick Vieira should be in midfield.

    I'd say replace Ballack with Gilberto Silva. I think it would be very hard to have a "dream team" with only 11 players. How do you say one player is better than the other when they don't play the same competition? Very subjective to say the least.

    That's cause it's from El Mundo Deportivo, which is essentially a Barcelona mouthpiece.
