The Fiorentina keeper had one almost as bad. But I have to admit, it was a howler--and a really tough play at the same time. That was a well struck ball.

Dortmund winning 2-0 at home in the 89th minute…. Yet still manage to lose 2-3 to promoted Werder Bremen.

My god. Leipzig lose as well to Union. Bundesliga is well and truly over. It’s a joke. I like the Bundesliga, but I feel like this season is pointless already :(

Bochum did beat Bayern last season, so we shall see. But it's nice to see my guys in first place for two days, at least, even though we have not played that well.

I think we've gotten so used to having four minutes as the normal minimum for stoppage time now that we forget that for the majority of the history of the game, stoppage time only lasted for two minutes or so, unless weird stuff happened. So maybe it's not all that surprising that multiple-goal comebacks at that stage of the match are so rare.

But even still... more than 8,500 times, and only 18 times did someone go late-regulation goal, stoppage-time equalizer? That's pretty nuts.

And if you got a minute at the end of the first half, that was really rare.

Werder Bremen are blessed because they have the best away kits in the football world.

Aaronson just scored a goal for Leeds against Chelsea... that will make you laugh your ass off when you see it.

This is a really impressive start by Leeds, but the Chelsea fans in my timeline are still complaining about last week's officiating, so maybe the team is also distracted.

Aaronson making a strong case to be in the starting 11 in Qatar. He has looked really strong.

He is a better version of Pulisic. Aaronson actually defends and doesn’t get easily bumped off the ball.

Aaronson is playing with super levels of confidence. Pulisic isn’t even playing. He needs to get out to Chelsea and get a full season of PT.

He needs to go to less physically challenging leagues like Spain or Italy.

Whether or not he has the tactical awareness and know how to succeed at a top team, or even near top team in those leagues is up for debate.

Emailed my buddy who lives in Leeds. He refers to Aaronson as "The Little Engine That Could". Thought you might like that.

a Howe led Bournemouth would be entertaining, a Parker led Bournemouth would also be entertaining, but for a different reason.

Funny, Leeds the supposed "big club" getting all wet about beating Chelsea.

Chelsea/Leeds is a rivalry that goes back generations. Leeds lost all 12 games against the top 6 PL teams last season. This game was HUGE for LLF, LM (Lifelong Leeds Fans, Like Myself). In all the fan polls preseason I don't think I saw a single one that expected Leeds to finish above 10th. That they have 7 points from 3 games (that very realistically should have been 9) with a win vs basically the most hated rival as the capper is flabbergasting.

Also, it's been a lot of fun to watch! The terrifying grind for points to avoid relegation has been put behind us and we're getting to enjoy the games, and the games have been a joy.
