Last year the EL was broadcast exclusively through DirecTV and GolTV: DirecTV had a number of channels that offered most games live (in the upper 400s) and GolTV would show one or two matches live on a given matchday. What I know so far: -Liverpool vs. FC Gomel (EL qualifier) was shown live on FSC (both legs); -those upper 400 "UEFA" chanells are still on DirecTV; -today I saw a commercial for the EL on ESPN Deportes; So what channel/s will show the EL this year? Thanks in advance for any info.
Since Fox partners with DirecTV for the CL matches, there is no reason they don't do the same for the EL. But not confirmed.... SA www.soccertvblog.com
Did Fox sub-license Spanish language matches to ESPN Deportes? I can only hope so since any delayed Sudamericana or Libertadores game on Fox Deportes is edited by 2-10 minutes, whereas live games are complete. Thus, Fox Deportes keeping those times available for CONMEBOL is better.
just sew on fox website they are showing the Liverpool-Harts game live at 2:30 ET on thursday the 23.
