We're on 38 points from 36 league games.

... And watching that match makes you wonder how we got 'em.

Why? Do we expect a sudden return to form Funkfoot?

You don't sit your team captain, all time assists leader, 5th all time goal scorer for a cup final. Especially not for Richy, Tel or Odobert.

Ive just read on SC (so I don't know if it's true - but I'd guess so) that of the last 54 league points on offer for Spurs and ManU combined, and grand total of six have been won.

That's two shit runs of form right there. Ive checked the rules; one of us has to win it.

You do know he's been playing with an injury?

He hasn't been on form all season and before the injury his performances were less than good.

Who are we talking about here? It could be any of our players.

So typical of Spurs' season. Only 3 players out now, but they all play the same position.

I've just seen the predicted line up for Wednesday and Son plays. For me those who attained the final should play in it.

Maddison and Kulusevski, each of whom played v Bodo, are injured. Should we play them anyway, or just start ten men?

Based on the Villa game, I think we'll see a 4-4-2.

    Vicario
Porro Romero Van de Ven Udogie
    Johnson Bissouma Bentancur Son
    Solanke Richarlison

It makes no sense to stick with the 4-3-3, as we don't have anyone to play the "creative" midfielder role. This gets the best (available) 11 players on the pitch. Defend like crazy, bypass the midfield and kick it long to the two target men. And hope for the best. (Also, presumably everyone knows how to play a 4-4-2.)

'Bypass the midfield'? That's usually our opponents' job.

Geneva, Indiana? You should've let me know you were in the neighborhood, mate. I'd've bought you a pint.

Ha ha no. I'm going to come clean with you pookspur. This is a shared account and I don't drink pints. Pink gin or gin and tonic please.

    Dont drink pints?!

Well, if you think I'm ordering a 'pink gin' in Kuhn's Den, you got another thing comin'. You'll have to drive up to Berne for something like that.

I actually started to phrase that post differently - in a more Geneva, Indiana-type slightly homophobic way - when it occurred to me, 'say pook, are you sure ol' Chickasaw is a bloke?'. So i re-phrased it.

Still, a pink gin in Kuhn's? Even for a lady, I can't see it.

... now that I think of it ... an actual 'lady' in Kuhn's ... i can't really see that. You might wanna head all the way up to Decatur.
