Liverpool will face either FK Renova from Macedonia or FC Gomel of Belarus in the Europa League third qualifying round. Gomel, managed by Oleg Kubarev finished 3rd in the Belarusian Premier League last year. They play their football at Central Stadion in Gomel, Belarus which has a capacity of 14,307. FK Renova meanwhile, finished fourth in the Macedonian First League. Gomel lead 2-0 from the first leg. Liverpool FC will confirm all details for the fixture schedules shortly. The matches are scheduled to be played on August 2 and 9 with the second leg expected to be at Anfield. http://www.liverpoolfc.com/news/latest-news/reds-to-face-renova-or-gomel
He's small quick and deft with the ball at his feet. Biggest surprise for me is how good he is in the air.
Disappointed with the draw. We are playing Spurs in America on the 28th, we then have to travel back to Liverpool and then the away leg is first and have to instantly go right across Europe to play this match. Would have preferred to play someone like Dundee, which would have helped with far less travelling. I'm sure we will cope though.
Old news (but new to me) FSC has the rights to Europa League. I would expect to see our matches making the TV schedule.
