What a goal! did he embarras barca's defense or what?

    http://www.goal.com/es/G/index.shtml

the site is in spanish. Where the black links are click on the link "El gol antológico del bético Varela ante el Barça 29 Septiembre" (should be third link)

when the photo gallery loads click on "foto siguiente" (next photo) to advance the slide show.

    29 Septiembre = 29 september

if you try to find the photo gallery after today just guide yourself by the date, it should be with the photos of 29 of september. (the dates are after the link names)

    I saw this live.

Amazing goal, and he's a FULLBACK!!!!!!!!!!!

Barcelona were humiliated. Betis could be the new Celta Vigo, and maybe the new Deportivo.

Betis will not be the new Celta or new Deportivo, they have always been Real Betis Balompie and need not be compared to any Gallego teams!

BTW-Varela is also from the Cantera Betica and like Joaquin his rescission clause is 60M Euro's! He like Capi deserve to be on the national team!

Do you think Capi will called up for the team vs Northern Ireland in place of Valeron? From what I read, Juanito looked good today as well.

The entire cantera Betica looked great today as did the entire team and we were jokingly saying on the Betis chat that Saez should just call up the Betis team minus the foreigners, throw in Raul and Tristan and that would be a great Spanish national team! ;>)

Viva er eurobeti manque alfonso y lopera!

I saw it live, too. Not to discredit Varela, who IMO is a very good player, but the defense of Barça was very, very bad in this play.

maybe the Di Canio goal is in the uk version

"I saw it live, too. Not to discredit Varela, who IMO is a very good player, but the defense of Barça was very, very bad in this play."

van gaal said that it was due to the players being "tired" from the trip to turkey in the cl. Even one of his players criticised the defense and said tiredness had nothing to do with it.

barca is starting to show internal problems.
